Best HR Chatbot Platforms (2026): Top 9 Compared
An HR chatbot answers employee questions about leave, pay, benefits and policy, and in current products it also acts: it checks a balance in the HR system, files a request, routes an approval or starts an onboarding task. This page covers products built as HR or employee-service assistants, not HR suites with a chat feature and not general customer service bots, which are compared on the AI chatbot pages. The nine products below fall into three groups. Leena AI, Moveworks, Rezolve.ai and PeopleReign are enterprise employee-service assistants that span HR and IT and sell by custom quote. MeBeBot, Workativ and Enjo publish prices and deploy quickly into Slack and Microsoft Teams. Paradox and XOR are candidate-facing recruiting chatbots that screen and schedule applicants. Three of the nine publish a plan price, and a fourth publishes a per-hire figure for its recruiting service.

HR chatbot platforms give employees a conversational way to get HR answers and complete HR tasks without waiting for a person. An employee asks about leave, pay, benefits or policy in Slack, Microsoft Teams or a portal, and the assistant answers from approved documents, looks up the employee’s own data in the HR system, or files and routes the request.
The nine products compared here take different routes to that job. Leena AI, Moveworks, Rezolve.ai and PeopleReign are enterprise employee-service assistants that also cover IT and, in some cases, finance. MeBeBot, Workativ and Enjo are lighter products with published prices that deploy into Slack and Teams in days. Paradox and XOR are recruiting chatbots that apply the same conversational approach to candidates.
Every entry was checked against the vendor’s own pages in September 2026. MeBeBot, Workativ and Enjo publish plan prices, XOR publishes a per-hire figure for its recruiting service, and the other five quote. Buyers comparing HR chatbot platforms may also review employee experience platforms.
Vendor details and trade-offs
Leena AI sells what it calls AI Colleagues for the enterprise back office. Its homepage states that the platform serves more than 20 million employees across more than 500 enterprises and that deployments go live in 45 days. Three prebuilt assistants are offered: Harrison for HR, Iris for IT and Fiona for finance.
Harrison is described as an always-on HR helpdesk covering onboarding from the first day, benefits enrolment and changes, leave applications and balances, time and attendance enquiries, letters and policy questions. Leena AI states that each assistant is voice-enabled, available around the clock and fluent in more than 100 languages.
Knowledge Studio connects to existing content in SharePoint, Confluence, ServiceNow, Google Drive and Box and inherits source permissions rather than copying documents. AOP Studio lets the team that owns a process describe it in plain English as an agent operating protocol. Customer quotes on the homepage describe HR helpdesk rollouts in Microsoft Teams and mobile apps, including one that replaced ServiceNow across more than 70 properties.

- More than 200 prebuilt connectors included in the licence
Trade-offs
- No published price
- Built and priced for large enterprises rather than small HR teams

Moveworks describes itself as an AI assistant platform for the whole workforce that searches and acts across business applications. ServiceNow completed its acquisition of Moveworks on 15 December 2025, and the Moveworks homepage now presents the assistant working with ServiceNow as one product. The homepage states that more than 350 organisations use it, including 10% of the Fortune 500.
The HR solution page describes an assistant for HR and people operations that works across HRIS, HCM, HRMS and HR service delivery systems. Employees ask questions in natural language in Slack, Teams, a portal or an intranet, the assistant searches policies and knowledge bases and answers with source citations, and routine requests are completed through task automation without a ticket.
Documented HR tasks include viewing direct deposit details, finding the vacation policy, updating an address and creating an employment verification letter. For recruiting, hiring managers can view open jobs, refer candidates, look up interview questions and submit interview feedback. Moveworks cites a Forrester Total Economic Impact study and states support for more than 100 languages.

MeBeBot sells an AI employee assistant that answers HR, IT and operations questions inside Slack or Microsoft Teams. Its homepage states that it supports employees in more than 50 countries, goes live in days and is 97% accurate from the first day, a figure the vendor reports rather than one measured independently.
The product has three parts. MeBeBot One is the platform that centralises company knowledge and gives leaders analytics on usage, engagement and return on investment. The AI Assistant answers employees in Slack, Teams, web chat and SMS, with feedback and escalation controls so content owners can correct answers. MeBeBot Agents automate search and communication, including proactive push notifications and sentiment surveys.
Essential includes the assistant, the analytics dashboard, document scanning and a content knowledge base. Professional adds integrations, smart search, agentic insights, smart notifications, sentiment and custom prescriptive answers. Enterprise adds business-unit tenants, multi-language support, unlimited document ingestion, HCM and CRM integrations and priority support. MeBeBot also lists connections through the Model Context Protocol.

Workativ sells AI agents for HR and IT employee support. Its HR chatbot page states that the product automates more than 60% of repetitive HR queries, such as leave requests, benefits questions, onboarding tasks and policy lookups, and goes live in about three days. It works inside Slack, Microsoft Teams and a web portal without code.
Workativ distinguishes answering from acting. The HR agent checks live data in the connected HRIS, submits leave requests, routes manager approvals, updates records and confirms the outcome in the same conversation. Complex or sensitive questions go to the HR team through a shared inbox with the conversation attached. The HR page lists support for more than 95 languages.
Pricing is based on sessions, where a session is one conversation in which an employee may ask several questions. The pricing page states that the agent stops responding for the rest of the billing period when the session limit is reached, and that Workativ may notify the customer in advance. Enterprise adds more sessions, custom app integrations, higher training limits and training on images and advanced documents.
Potential strengths
- Published monthly price that does not rise with headcount
- Deploys to Slack, Teams, web, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger
Trade-offs
- The AI agent stops responding once the monthly session allowance is used
- The Business plan includes only five actions
- Product reference

Rezolve.ai describes itself as an agentic AI service desk for IT, HR and finance. Its homepage states that roughly 70% of requests are resolved before they become tickets. For HR, it says benefits, policy and payroll questions are answered in about 30 seconds, anonymously and around the clock, and that 60% to 80% of common HR requests are resolved autonomously. These are the vendor's figures.
Employees use Sidekick, the assistant, in Microsoft Teams, Slack, email, the web and by phone. It answers from approved knowledge with citations and completes tasks such as booking leave, resetting passwords and filing expenses. When a request reaches a person, the ticket arrives triaged and summarised with a drafted reply for review, never sent automatically.
Rezolve.ai sells four products that can be bought separately: AI for Employees, AI for Technicians, an AI-native ITSM system of record and autonomous agents. The pricing page states that frontline workers are priced differently from corporate staff and that fulfiller seats can be reduced as automation takes more of the load.
Potential strengths
- Separate frontline and corporate employee pricing
- HR, IT and finance requests handled on one governed platform
Trade-offs
- No published price
- Buyers wanting only an HR bot pay for a broader service desk design
- Product reference
- Pricing source

PeopleReign sells a virtual agent for IT and HR employee service to large enterprises. Its homepage states a 30-day time to value backed by what it calls a 100% success guarantee, prebuilt employee workflows, more than 100 enterprise integrations and a no-code AI application builder.
The product is organised as five applications. Experience measures the quality of employee service interactions. The Virtual Agent diagnoses and solves problems in 90 languages across seven channels, including voice, Teams and Slack. Classify escalates issues the virtual agent cannot resolve to the most suitable person based on skills, languages spoken and geography. Recommend gives live agents next-best-action coaching, and Insights predicts future issues from recent employee questions.
PeopleReign states that the product can reduce ticket volume by 60% and cost per ticket by 80%, which are vendor claims. The homepage carries an endorsement from John Chambers of JC2 Ventures and describes explainable AI as a design principle. It does not publish customer counts or prices.

Enjo sells an AI support agent for customer service, IT and HR teams. Its HR support page describes an agent that resolves repeat HR requests in Slack and Teams, including approvals that would otherwise wait in an inbox, and escalates to a person with the full conversation attached when needed. Enjo states that it is used in more than 600 enterprise deployments.
Documented HR uses include leave balances and carry-over rules answered from the handbook in the employee's language, insurance coverage and eligibility answered from approved benefits documents, reimbursement and leave exceptions routed to the right approver with reminders, and payslip and tax document requests handled in a private thread.
Guardrails restrict the agent to configured documents and topic boundaries, and every action is recorded. Beyond Slack and Teams, Enjo lists integrations with Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Zendesk and Okta, and includes an inbox, help centre, agent assist and insights. Standard adds natural-language workflows, advanced guardrails, audit trails and role-based access. Enterprise adds SSO, custom audit trails, white-labelling and on-premise deployment.

Paradox sells conversational hiring software built around an AI assistant named Olivia. Workday completed its acquisition of Paradox on 1 October 2025. The homepage presents Olivia as an assistant for all things hiring that automates routine recruiting tasks so recruiters spend more time with people.
The documented tasks cover the candidate journey: job search and apply, applicant screening through chat or text, interview scheduling in which candidates choose a time slot, candidate preparation material, video interviewing, offer letter creation, onboarding documents, hiring events, employee referrals and candidate feedback surveys.
Paradox publishes customer stories from large hourly employers. It states that Compass Group hires 120,000 workers a year with a recruiting team of 20, that 7-Eleven saved its stores 40,000 hours a week, and that Flynn Group automates 90% of its hiring process. Paradox also sells a conversational applicant tracking system. It suits employers whose HR chatbot need is recruiting volume rather than employee self-service.
Potential strengths
- Covers apply, screening, scheduling, offers and onboarding in one flow
- Customer stories from large hourly employers such as 7-Eleven and Compass Group
Trade-offs
- No published price
- Candidate-facing, so it does not answer existing employees' HR questions
- Product reference
- Product documentation
- Billing terms: Not recorded
- Source review: checked Sep 25, 2026

XOR sells AI recruiting software whose chatbots and conversational AI screen candidates, score their answers and schedule interviews directly on recruiters' calendars. Its chatbot page states that the bots work for inbound candidates from career sites, job boards and ads, and for outbound campaigns over text messaging and WhatsApp.
Documented capabilities include replacing job applications with a conversation that builds a candidate profile, asking and scoring screening questions, scheduling one-on-one, panel, sequential or round-robin interviews, and text, chat and video interview sequences that candidates complete at any time. For onboarding and HR, XOR states that the bots can train new hires, survey their experience and track engagement.
The homepage lists more than 35 integrations, support for over 100 languages across six continents and a mobile-first candidate experience. XOR also sells a fully automated recruitment service for blue-collar hiring at a stated $500 per hire, which sets it apart from vendors that sell software only.

- Chatbot software plans are not priced publicly
- Recruiting-focused, with only light onboarding and employee survey features

Frequently asked questions
What is an HR chatbot platform?
An HR chatbot platform is software that answers employees' HR questions and completes routine HR requests through a conversation, usually inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, a portal or a mobile app. Current products connect to the HRIS and knowledge bases to give employee-specific answers, submit requests and route approvals. Some vendors apply the same approach to candidates during hiring.
How much do HR chatbot platforms cost?
Three of the nine products publish plan prices. MeBeBot charges $3.50 to $4.00 per employee per month for companies with up to 750 employees, falling to $1.50 in larger bands. Workativ's Business plan costs $349 a month for 500 sessions, and Enjo runs from a free plan to $295 a month. Leena AI, Moveworks, Rezolve.ai, PeopleReign and Paradox quote, and XOR publishes only a per-hire figure for its recruiting service.
What is the difference between an HR chatbot and an HR helpdesk?
An HR helpdesk records employee requests as cases and routes them to HR staff. An HR chatbot answers or completes the request in the conversation, so that fewer cases are created. Several products on this page combine both: Rezolve.ai includes a ticketing system, Enjo includes an inbox and help centre, and Workativ and PeopleReign hand unresolved questions to people with the conversation attached.
Which HR chatbots work in Slack and Microsoft Teams?
Moveworks, MeBeBot, Workativ, Rezolve.ai, PeopleReign and Enjo document both Slack and Teams deployment, and Leena AI customer accounts describe Teams and mobile app rollouts. MeBeBot also supports web chat and SMS, Workativ adds web, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, Rezolve.ai adds email and phone, and PeopleReign lists seven channels including voice. Paradox and XOR are candidate-facing and work through career sites, chat and text messaging instead.
Can an HR chatbot take actions or only answer questions?
Most products on this page take actions through integrations. Documented examples include checking leave balances and submitting leave requests in Workativ and Leena AI, updating an address or creating a verification letter in Moveworks, booking leave in Rezolve.ai and routing approvals in Enjo. Buyers should confirm which actions are prebuilt for their specific HRIS before signing.
What is the difference between an HR chatbot and a recruiting chatbot?
An HR chatbot serves current employees and draws on the HRIS, payroll and policy documents. A recruiting chatbot serves candidates, collecting applications, screening, scheduling interviews and sometimes issuing offers, and connects to an applicant tracking system. Paradox and XOR on this page are recruiting chatbots; the other seven are employee-facing.
How is HR chatbot pricing usually structured?
Enterprise vendors usually license per employee, either per month or per year, sometimes with a separate charge for staff who work tickets or for autonomous agents. Smaller vendors more often charge a flat monthly fee for a volume of conversations or replies. Workativ counts sessions, Enjo counts AI replies with a $0.05 overage, and MeBeBot charges per employee with rates falling by headcount band.
How was this comparison compiled?
Each product was checked against the vendor's own product, pricing and documentation pages in September 2026. Prices and capabilities are reported as the vendors publish them, and figures such as resolution rates are vendor claims. No product was tested hands-on, and no vendor confirmed its entry. Vendors appear in content sequence, which is not a ranking.
