Sources and limitations
Source links are provided where they have been recorded. Some earlier entries have incomplete source records; those entries should be treated as summaries to verify with the vendor, not as independently established facts. Vendor-reported customer counts, performance figures and similar claims are not independent measurements.
StatWharf does not claim to have purchased, implemented or tested every product. Ease of use, implementation effort, security, support quality and total cost can depend on a buyer's configuration and contract and should be assessed during a trial or procurement process.
Pricing
Pricing notes distinguish earlier recorded prices from source checks with a supporting reference and date. An earlier recorded date is not a fresh verification. Prices may depend on country, currency, billing term, usage, seats, add-ons or a negotiated contract. “Quote-based” means no usable public price was recorded; it is not an estimate. Buyers should confirm current terms directly with the vendor.
Which vendors appear
Vendors are selected editorially: products with a live public product page that serve the category and appear in public buyer discussion of it. A page title states how many vendors that page compares. It is a count of what is on the page, not a measurement that these are the only or the strongest products in the market, and a category will usually contain others.
Buyer fit and ordering
Position is not a product-quality score or a claim of superior buyer fit, and it can reflect a paid placement. A source check can cover a pricing reference without verifying every feature.
Vendors may request a source check by sending documentation and pricing links through the contact page.
“Consider for” summaries help readers match products to their requirements. Compare deployment, workflow, commercial scope and source limitations before shortlisting. These are research-based judgments, not measured performance results.
Research
StatWharf publishes its own measurements of how answer engines search and cite software pages, with method and limits: ChatGPT query fan-out study.
Updates
Every page shows its last-updated date. That date records a content change, not a guarantee that every statement or source on the page was rechecked on that date. Individual source dates provide the more specific provenance where available.
