Best Sales Gamification Platforms (2026): Top 8 Compared

Updated September 2026By StatWharf Editorial8 vendorsMethodology

Sales gamification platforms read activity and results from a CRM, dialler or helpdesk and turn them into leaderboards, competitions, recognition and rewards that reps can see in real time. The eight products below fall into three groups. Spinify, SalesScreen, Plecto and Hoopla are built around live leaderboards, TV displays and contests. Ambition and LevelEleven pair gamification with scorecards and structured sales coaching. Centrical and SmartWinnr combine gamification with microlearning and training for frontline, contact center and field teams. Four vendors publish per-user prices: Spinify, Ambition, SalesScreen and Plecto. The other four quote after a demo or pricing form.

These comparisons draw on public product information, not hands-on testing of every tool. Source records identify available references and checks; missing evidence is marked. Buyer fit is an editorial assessment, not a measured performance score. How to use this research.

Sales gamification platforms turn the numbers a sales team already records into something reps watch during the day. They connect to a CRM, dialler, contact center platform or helpdesk, score activities and results against goals, and show them on leaderboards, in contests and through win announcements on TVs, mobile apps, Slack or Teams. Rewards, badges and points give managers a way to steer effort toward specific behaviours such as calls, meetings booked or cross-sells.

The eight products compared here split by emphasis. Spinify, SalesScreen, Plecto and Hoopla lead with live visibility, competitions and celebration. Ambition and LevelEleven wrap gamification in scorecards and manager coaching. Centrical and SmartWinnr tie game mechanics to training, quality scores and learning for frontline and regulated field teams.

Every entry was checked against the vendor’s own pages in September 2026. Spinify, Ambition, SalesScreen and Plecto publish per-user prices; the other four quote.

Spinify

Consider forSales managers who want CRM activity shown on real-time leaderboards, competitions and TV displays, and who want to choose between self-service and vendor-managed programmes, as Spinify describes on its pricing page
Pricing notesIn US dollars, Sardine is USD 9 per user per month billed monthly with self-service setup; Goldfish is USD 15 and Shark USD 25 per user per month billed annually, adding guided onboarding and a performance strategist; Whale is listed at USD 99k with unlimited users, billed annually. Real estate editions set 5-user and 50-user minimums (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateEvery plan includes the full platform; tiers differ by onboarding, strategy support and managed programme design

Spinify connects to a CRM and other data sources and turns activity into real-time leaderboards, automated competitions and recognition. Its homepage describes the product as a sales performance platform that combines gamification with AI coaching, and it offers a 14-day free trial without a credit card.

Spinify's pricing is unusual in that every plan includes the same platform. The four tiers differ by service. Sardine is self-service on a monthly plan. Goldfish adds guided implementation, administrator training and dedicated support. Shark adds an ongoing performance strategist who helps design KPIs and competitions. Whale hands programme design and management to a dedicated Spinify programme manager, with unlimited users.

Listed features on the real estate editions give a sense of the product's scope: more than 250 competition and recognition designs, TV displays, personal goals, automated celebrations with YouTube videos, broadcasts to Microsoft Teams and Slack, head-to-head challenges and reward stores on the larger edition. Spinify also lists a Sidekick AI agent and a Recognition AI agent, with a Coaching AI agent sold as an add-on. Integrations with real estate systems such as Agentbox, VaultRE and Rex Software point to a strong presence in that vertical. Buyers should check which data sources are included, since the starter real estate edition connects up to three.

Potential strengths

  • Monthly self-service plan with a 14-day trial and no credit card
  • AI recognition and Sidekick agents included on listed plans

Trade-offs

  • Coaching AI agent is a paid add-on
  • Enterprise Whale plan is a large annual commitment

Ambition

mid-marketambition.com ↗
Consider forSales leaders who want gamification, scorecards and a recurring coaching programme for managers in one system, as Ambition describes on its pricing page
Pricing notesStarter (Seller Activation) is USD 45 per user per month, Pro (Coaching Orchestration) USD 65 and Enterprise (Revenue Execution System) USD 75. AI Insights costs USD 5 and AI Actions USD 4 per user per month on each tier, with extra AI credits purchasable. Contracts are annual, with a two-year term as standard (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateCoaching pre-reads, team check-ins and performance ratings sit beside leaderboards and competitions

Ambition positions itself as a coaching and execution platform for revenue teams, with gamification as one of three pillars alongside tracking and coaching. Its pricing page sorts features into Coach, Track and Achieve groups.

The Starter tier, called Seller Activation, covers the gamification core: real-time leaderboards and competitions, activity and objective scorecards, automated accolades and a productivity quadrant that plots reps by activity and results. Competitions include challenges and fantasy-style formats, and accolades can be triggered by metrics, tiers or manager discretion. Results can be shown on office TVs.

The Pro tier adds coaching orchestration: AI-generated coaching pre-reads, recurring coaching programmes, team check-ins, performance ratings, calendar sync, pipeline snapshots and conversation data. Enterprise adds coaching analytics, conversational intelligence, private hosting and sandbox environments. The platform integrates with Salesforce, including user field syncing, and with Teams, Slack, Zoom and Cisco Webex, and it lists SAML single sign-on and custom permission sets.

Ambition states that contracts are annual with a two-year term as standard, which it attributes to the time needed to put coaching systems into practice. Buyers who only want leaderboards may find the coaching emphasis more than they need.

Potential strengths

  • Published per-user prices for all three tiers
  • Fantasy competitions, challenges and accolades on every tier

Trade-offs

  • Two-year standard term is longer than most peers
  • AI features are priced as per-user add-ons

SalesScreen

mid-marketsalesscreen.com ↗
Consider forSales teams of ten or more that want tracked metrics, TV leaderboards and reward shops, with AI that flags reps falling behind, as SalesScreen describes on its homepage and pricing page
Pricing notesThe pricing page's plan data lists Essentials at USD 15, Scale at USD 25 and Pro at USD 45 per user per month; Scale requires at least 10 users and Pro at least 15. Enterprise is quoted. Add-ons such as Coaching and Scout AI cost USD 5 per user per month. Essentials starts with a 30-day trial without a credit card (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateTiers are sized by the number of metrics gamified, from 4 on Essentials and 8 on Scale to unlimited on Pro and Enterprise

SalesScreen describes itself as consistent sales performance delivered by gamification and powered by AI. Its Scout AI scans activity data such as calls, meetings, follow-ups and pipeline movement to flag reps and behaviours that are drifting off pace, and the gamification layer responds with a competition, recognition or nudge.

Plans are sized by how many metrics a team can track and gamify: up to 4 on Essentials, up to 8 on Scale and unlimited on Pro and Enterprise, according to the plan comparison. Features across tiers include targets on metrics, metric funnels, SalesSurround TV screens and playlists, customisable dashboards, mission blueprints, a customisable reward shop and a mobile app. Higher tiers add team and department hierarchies, user cohorts, a dedicated customer success manager, a private database and a 99.5 percent uptime SLA.

SalesScreen lists native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, SuperOffice and Genesys, plus contact center and telephony tools such as RingCentral, LeadDesk and Adversus, and Nordic real estate systems such as Vitec. Salesforce, Visma Core and Genesys Cloud are classed as premium integrations. A Zapier listing and an API cover other systems. Buyers should confirm which of their tools count as premium before choosing a tier.

Potential strengths

  • Native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Genesys
  • SalesSurround TV screens and customisable reward shop

Trade-offs

  • Team minimums on Scale and Pro
  • Premium integrations and AI features depend on tier or add-ons

Plecto

mid-marketplecto.com ↗
Consider forSales, customer support and call center teams that want KPI dashboards from many systems combined with contests, achievements and a reward store, as Plecto describes on its pricing and gamification pages
Pricing notesMedium is USD 24 and Large USD 37.20 per tracked licence per month, with a minimum of 10 licences, billed annually. Enterprise is quoted and adds on-site setup, volume discounts, custom integrations and a custom NDA and DPA. Managers who only view data do not need a licence (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateMore than 150 integrations across CRM, helpdesk and telephony feeding one dashboard view

Plecto began as a KPI dashboard product and adds gamification and coaching on top. It pulls data from CRM, helpdesk and telephony systems, listing more than 150 integrations, and shows performance on dashboards that can run on desktop, mobile, TV slideshows and Apple devices.

Gamification features include contests with themed races, instant notifications, achievement badges, a reward store and a spinning wheel. Users can build custom avatars for contests. Plecto's case studies include call center, insurance and retail teams, so it is not limited to B2B sales.

The licence model is precise. A licence is needed for each employee or system that sends data to Plecto; managers who only view data are free, and two part-time employees who work on separate days can share one licence. Every tier includes unlimited dashboards, unlimited data sources, API access and SAML single sign-on. The Large tier adds contests, the spinning wheel, the reward store, reports, one-on-ones, quizzes, SQL integrations and phone support. Buyers who mainly want contests should price the Large tier, since the Medium tier is closer to a dashboard product with achievements and notifications.

Potential strengths

  • Published per-licence prices with a clear licence definition
  • Part-time staff on separate days can share one licence

Trade-offs

  • Contests, reward store and spinning wheel require the Large tier
  • Annual billing only on published plans

Hoopla

mid-markethoopla.net ↗
Consider forSales managers who want leaderboards, contests and public celebrations of wins broadcast on TVs, mobile, Slack and Teams, as Hoopla describes on its product page
Pricing notesNo published price. Hoopla's pricing address redirects to a demo booking page that states no credit card is required and free hardware is included, without plan figures (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluatePersonalised win videos and songs play when a rep closes a deal

Hoopla has sold sales motivation software since 2010, according to its demo page. The product centres on three things: leaderboards that visualise CRM data on any device, Newsflashes that publicly celebrate a win as soon as it happens, and streaming channels that play leaderboards, contests and company news on office TVs.

Celebration is the most visible part of the product. Reviews quoted by Hoopla describe reps having their own 30-second song or video when a deal closes, and the TV channels can also carry birthdays, anniversaries and social media highlights. That makes Hoopla as much an internal communication tool for a sales floor as a gamification engine.

Hoopla streams through a browser on PCs and inside Salesforce, integrates natively with Slack and Teams for win alerts, and offers iOS and Android apps. It can send summary emails to executives. For remote staff, Hoopla describes a preconfigured Microsoft Surface tablet through Raydiant's Second Screen that combines video conferencing with real-time data sharing.

The demo page states that teams can go live in 24 hours and that free hardware is included. Buyers should ask what hardware is covered, which CRM integrations are native and how pricing scales with the number of screens and users.

Potential strengths

  • Free display hardware mentioned on the demo page
  • Native Slack and Teams integration plus iOS and Android apps

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Coaching and learning features are lighter than coaching-led platforms

LevelEleven

mid-marketascentcloud.io ↗
Consider forSales teams running on Salesforce that want daily scorecards, contests and coaching insights, with the option to add territory planning and field mapping from the same vendor, as Ascent Cloud describes for LevelEleven
Pricing notesNo published price. The LevelEleven pricing address redirects to Ascent Cloud's pricing page, which asks for team size and the products required and states that buyers pay for what they use (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateSold alongside Territory Planner and Geopointe so territory and field data can feed performance coaching

LevelEleven is a sales performance management and gamification product now sold by Ascent Cloud, which also owns the Territory Planner and Geopointe products. Ascent Cloud states that LevelEleven has been installed by more than 1,000 sales teams and offers a free trial on the Salesforce AppExchange.

The product works in three loops. The first defines goals as scorecards reps can follow daily, tracks activity and outcomes in real time and reinforces focus with leaderboards and nudges. The second helps managers spot gaps and outliers before they show up in pipeline and turn performance signals into coaching actions, then tracks follow-through. The third runs competitions aligned to chosen behaviours, including combining several competitions into a single shared leaderboard.

LevelEleven's place in a wider suite is its main difference from standalone gamification tools. Territory Planner models territories and Geopointe adds location intelligence for field sellers, and an Insights add-on analyses activity across all three. A company that plans territories in Salesforce and wants field execution data to feed coaching can buy these from one vendor. Buyers who only need a leaderboard should ask whether LevelEleven can be bought alone, which Ascent Cloud's pricing page indicates it can.

Potential strengths

  • Free trial available on Salesforce AppExchange
  • Scorecards turn goals into daily targets reps can follow

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Best fit depends on running Salesforce

Centrical

enterprisecentrical.com ↗
Consider forEnterprise contact center, service and sales operations that want gamified performance goals connected to coaching, quality scores and personalised learning, as Centrical describes on its gamification and sales solution pages
Pricing notesNo published price. Centrical lists no plans or figures and directs buyers to a demo; its pricing address returned a not-found page (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateGamified KPIs connect to quality assurance findings, coaching workflows and microlearning in one loop

Centrical describes itself as a performance intelligence platform for frontline employees, which in practice means contact center agents, service staff and sales teams. Gamification is one part of a loop that also includes performance data, coaching, microlearning and AI role-play.

The gamification layer is more elaborate than most on this page. Users progress through game narratives, such as a car race where users move ahead by hitting targets or a Hike and Seek game where they collect items by reaching goals. They earn points and redeemable coins, collect badges, level up and move on leaderboards, and teams join competitions while individuals take personal challenges. User segments can be grouped dynamically so the right challenge goes to the right person. Peer and manager kudos also earn points.

For sales teams, Centrical's Salesforce gamification awards points or badges for CRM behaviours, from follow-up speed to cross-selling and clean field records, and runs team, head-to-head and personal competitions inside the Salesforce window. The wider platform connects quality scores to coaching workflows and triggers microlearning when KPI or knowledge gaps appear. Buyers with large contact centers and a learning agenda are the clearest fit.

Potential strengths

  • Progressing game narratives, levels and redeemable coins
  • Salesforce gamification can award points for CRM behaviours

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Broad performance platform is more than a leaderboard buyer needs

SmartWinnr

specialistsmartwinnr.com ↗
Consider forSales training and enablement teams in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, insurance and banking that want contests and leaderboards tied to learning and coaching, as SmartWinnr describes on its gamification page
Pricing notesNo published price. SmartWinnr's pricing address redirects to a demo request page offering a 15-minute walkthrough, without plans or figures (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateEligibility rules, caps, approvals and auditable reward history for governed contests

SmartWinnr is a sales readiness platform whose gamification module turns training and coaching into contests, points and leaderboards. Its site groups the product into AI role-play, targeted learning, gamification, field coaching and content management, and it lists pharmaceuticals, medical devices, insurance, banking, technology, financial services, senior living, automotive and retail as industries served.

The gamification module launches contests by role, team, product or region with fixed start and end dates. A points engine awards points for learning, certifications, coaching actions and CRM outcomes, weighted by importance, and live leaderboards show ranks and streaks on web and mobile across daily, weekly and overall views. Goals, milestone tiers and badges mark progress.

Governance is the distinguishing feature. SmartWinnr lets administrators define eligibility, caps and approvals, keeps audit-ready logs to reduce gaming of the rules, and records reward history by region. For regulated sales forces, where incentives and training records may be reviewed, those controls matter more than visual effects. Buyers should confirm which CRM systems feed the points engine and whether gamification can be bought without the learning modules.

Potential strengths

  • Contests by role, team, product or region with set dates
  • Same platform covers AI role-play, targeted learning and field coaching

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Built for training-led programmes more than sales-floor displays

How to choose a vendor

Confirm the data connection before the game design

A leaderboard is only as credible as the data behind it. Buyers should list every system that records the activities to be rewarded, such as the CRM, dialler, contact center platform or helpdesk, and ask each vendor to show a live native integration for each one. Custom metrics, SQL connections and API imports often sit on higher tiers, so they belong in the first pricing conversation.

Decide between motivation and coaching

Some platforms focus on visibility and celebration: TV leaderboards, win announcements and contests. Others add scorecards, one-on-one agendas and coaching workflows for managers. Teams that mainly need energy on a sales floor may not use coaching modules, while teams with inconsistent managers may get more from scorecards than from contests. Buyers should decide which problem they are solving before comparing tiers.

Count licences the way the vendor counts them

Per-user prices here range from single digits to more than 70 US dollars a month, and the licence definition changes the total. Plecto charges per tracked licence and lets view-only managers in free, SalesScreen and Plecto set team minimums, and Ambition states an annual contract with a two-year standard term. Buyers should model the full seat count, add-ons and term before comparing headline prices.

Frequently asked questions

What is a sales gamification platform?

A sales gamification platform takes activity and results from a CRM, dialler or helpdesk and turns them into leaderboards, competitions, badges, points and rewards that reps can see in real time. Most products also broadcast wins to TVs, Slack or Teams, and several add scorecards, coaching workflows or microlearning so managers can act on the same data.

How much do sales gamification platforms cost?

Four of the eight vendors publish prices. Spinify starts at USD 9 per user per month on a monthly self-service plan, SalesScreen lists USD 15 to 45 per user per month, Plecto charges USD 24 or 37.20 per tracked licence per month billed annually, and Ambition lists USD 45 to 75 per user per month plus AI add-ons. Hoopla, LevelEleven, Centrical and SmartWinnr quote after a demo.

Which sales gamification platforms offer a free trial?

Spinify offers a 14-day free trial without a credit card, SalesScreen's Essentials plan starts with a 30-day trial without a credit card, and LevelEleven offers a free trial through the Salesforce AppExchange. Hoopla's demo page states that no credit card is required. Other vendors on this page start with a demo.

Do sales gamification platforms integrate with Salesforce and HubSpot?

All eight vendors describe CRM integration. SalesScreen lists native Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations, with Salesforce classed as premium. Ambition syncs Salesforce user fields, LevelEleven is built for Salesforce, Centrical runs gamification inside the Salesforce window and Hoopla streams inside Salesforce. Buyers should confirm custom objects and fields, which often need extra setup.

What is the difference between sales gamification and employee recognition software?

Sales gamification is driven by performance data: points, rankings and contests move automatically when a rep logs a call or closes a deal. Employee recognition software centres on peer and manager appreciation, rewards catalogues and company values across all staff. Several gamification platforms include recognition features, such as Centrical's kudos or Spinify's recognition designs, but the scoring comes from metrics.

Can sales gamification work for contact center and support teams?

Yes. Centrical is built mainly for contact center and frontline teams, SalesScreen lists Genesys, RingCentral, LeadDesk and Adversus integrations, and Plecto connects to helpdesk and telephony systems and publishes call center case studies. Contests for service teams usually reward handle time, resolution or quality scores rather than revenue.

Which platforms combine gamification with sales coaching?

Ambition's Pro and Enterprise tiers add coaching programmes, AI pre-reads and performance ratings. LevelEleven pairs scorecards with coaching insights and follow-through tracking. Centrical and SmartWinnr connect gamification to coaching and microlearning, and Plecto's Large tier includes one-on-ones and quizzes. Spinify sells an AI coaching agent as an add-on.

How were these sales gamification platforms selected?

The page includes vendors whose products turn sales or frontline performance data into leaderboards, competitions and rewards, each with a live product page and a documentation or pricing page checked in September 2026. Order follows source readiness and content sequence, not quality. Vendors not listed can contact [email protected].
