Best Nonprofit Fundraising Software (2026): Top 10 Compared

Updated September 2026By StatWharf Editorial10 vendorsMethodology

The ten products below all collect donations and keep a record of each donor. They differ in where they start. Bloomerang, Raiser's Edge NXT, Virtuous, DonorPerfect, Neon CRM and Little Green Light start from the donor database. GoFundMe Pro, Givebutter, Donorbox and Zeffy start from online giving pages and forms. The pricing models also differ: a subscription by record count or revenue, a quote, or a fee on each gift.

These comparisons draw on public product information, not hands-on testing of every tool. Source records identify available references and checks; missing evidence is marked. Buyer fit is an editorial assessment, not a measured performance score. How to use this research.

Nonprofit fundraising software collects donations and records the people who give them. At a minimum it provides online donation forms, payment processing and receipts. Most products add a donor database, events and ticketing, auctions, peer-to-peer campaigns, recurring giving and email or text outreach.

The market splits along two lines. The first is the starting point. Donor CRMs such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, Virtuous, DonorPerfect and Little Green Light start from the database and add giving tools. Giving platforms such as GoFundMe Pro, Givebutter, Donorbox and Zeffy start from forms and campaign pages. Bloomerang and Neon CRM sell both as one product. The second line is the pricing model: a subscription by record count or revenue, a quote, or a fee or optional tip on each gift.

Pricing was checked in September 2026 on each vendor’s own site. Entries with dated source checks appear first, which records research readiness, not product quality.

Bloomerang sells a donor CRM, online fundraising and volunteer management as one Giving Platform. The pricing page lists Prospect AI and predictive donor insights inside the bundle, together with an expert support team. Every plan allows unlimited users, and the price depends on how many records the organization tracks.

  • Auctions, peer-to-peer, text giving and event ticketing sit in the fundraising product

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

enterpriseblackbaud.com ↗
Consider forEstablished nonprofits that run annual, sustainer and major-gift programs side by side, because Raiser's Edge NXT reports on each program and tracks prospects through defined stages
Pricing notesNo public price. Blackbaud states that price depends on organization size, number of users, selected solutions or modules, and the level of support and services. It states that quotes typically include implementation, training and ongoing support (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateA major-gift pipeline with stages from identification to stewardship and AI prospect ranking

Raiser's Edge NXT is Blackbaud's fundraising CRM. It keeps each supporter's giving history, engagement and relationships in one record. The vendor states that donation form activity can be linked to the email, ad or social post that brought the donor in.

The product puts weight on major gifts. Prospect Insights ranks likely major-gift candidates, and each relationship moves through stages from identification to stewardship. Chat for Blackbaud AI drafts donor summaries and talking points. Agents for Good work on outreach sequencing and follow-up under staff direction, per the vendor. Gift processing covers single gifts and multi-year pledges.

Blackbaud does not publish prices. Its pricing page names the inputs to a quote and states that implementation, training and support are typically included.

Momentum is the distinct product. It gives major and mid-level gift officers a prioritized donor inbox, drafts personalized emails and builds engagement plans. It logs activity back to the CRM. The vendor states that Momentum integrates with Blackbaud and Bloomerang as well as Virtuous. Prices for every product come from sales.

Trade-offs

  • No public price for the CRM or any module
  • Online giving, predictive insights and volunteers are separate products

DonorPerfect

mid-marketdonorperfect.com ↗
Consider forNonprofits that run email and direct-mail appeals from their donor database, because DonorPerfect bundles Constant Contact and adds direct-mail segmentation in its Pro plan
Pricing notesThree plans, Core, Plus and Pro, each quoted after a request. Core covers donor management, donation, volunteer, membership and event forms, donor portals and payment processing. Plus adds QuickBooks integration, ReadySetAuction, crowdfunding, moves management, batch gift entry and 5 scheduled reports. Pro adds enterprise direct-mail segmentation, enterprise reports and graphs, custom API access and phone support. Plus and Pro include a free trial of Practivated, an AI tool for practicing donor conversations. All three plans are quoted.

Potential strengths

  • Every plan includes Constant Contact, volunteer tracking and grant management tools
  • The pricing page shows feature differences between Core, Plus and Pro

Trade-offs

  • No plan has a published price
  • QuickBooks, auctions, crowdfunding and moves management start at Plus

Neon CRM

mid-marketneonone.com ↗
Consider forNonprofits building large supporter lists, because Neon CRM prices on revenue instead of record count
Pricing notesNeon CRM starts at $139 a month and is priced on revenue, not records. It includes supporter profiles, dashboards, workflows, grant management, campaigns and forms, peer-to-peer, recurring gifts and donor-advised fund gifts, payment processing, email and text. Neon Fundraise for peer-to-peer and endurance events starts at $158 a month. Neon Websites starts at $69 a month (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateA donor portal and stewardship journeys alongside email and text in the CRM

Neon One sells several nonprofit products, and Neon CRM is the core. The pricing page groups its features in four areas. Donor management covers supporter profiles, reporting, automated workflows and grant management. Fundraising covers campaigns and forms, peer-to-peer, recurring gifts and donor-advised fund gifts, and payment processing. Communications covers email and text messaging. Stewardship journeys and a donor portal complete the list.

The pricing model is the main difference from most CRMs on this page. Neon CRM starts at $139 a month and is priced by revenue, not by the number of records. The vendor states that there are no record caps.

Separate products extend it. Neon Fundraise, from $158 a month, runs peer-to-peer and endurance-event campaigns. Neon Websites starts at $69 a month. Neon Launch, at $49 a month plus transaction fees, targets new nonprofits.

Potential strengths

  • Publishes starting prices for the CRM, peer-to-peer and websites
  • No record cap, so list growth does not move the price

Trade-offs

  • Revenue-based pricing means cost rises as fundraising grows
  • The dedicated peer-to-peer product is priced separately from the CRM

GoFundMe Pro

mid-marketpro.gofundme.com ↗
Consider forNonprofits whose revenue comes mostly from online, recurring and peer-to-peer giving, because GoFundMe Pro includes unlimited donation pages and forms and connects to the GoFundMe community
Pricing notesNo public price. Buyers submit organization details and GoFundMe Pro recommends a plan. Listed features include unlimited donation pages and forms, recurring giving, campaign insights and reporting, GoFundMe Pay, Intelligent Ask Amounts and fraud protection. Live Events and the Salesforce integration are optional add-ons for an additional fee (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateAn editable GoFundMe Nonprofit Page and peer-to-peer campaigns tied to the GoFundMe network

GoFundMe Pro is the nonprofit fundraising platform of GoFundMe. Its pricing page lists unlimited donation pages and forms, recurring giving, a donor dashboard, campaign templating, marketing analytics, a Giving Cart and an integrations hub. GoFundMe Pay handles payments, and intelligent fraud protection screens transactions.

Two features connect it to the wider GoFundMe product. Each organization gets an editable GoFundMe Nonprofit Page, and peer-to-peer campaigns draw on the GoFundMe community, which the vendor puts at more than 200 million people. Intelligent Ask Amounts suggests gift amounts on forms.

The product is a giving platform rather than a full donor CRM, so many buyers pair it with a CRM. The vendor sells a Salesforce integration as a paid add-on, as well as a Live Events module. There is no list price: a buyer completes a form and receives a recommended plan.

Potential strengths

  • Unlimited donation pages and forms are listed in the standard feature set
  • Intelligent Ask Amounts suggests gift amounts on forms

Trade-offs

  • No list price; a plan is recommended only after a form
  • Live events and Salesforce integration cost extra

Givebutter

smbgivebutter.com ↗
Consider forSmall and new nonprofits that need forms, events, auctions and a donor database without a subscription, because Givebutter's core product is free when donor tips are on
Pricing notesFree core product. With optional donor tips on, the platform fee is 0% and the nonprofit pays no processing fee. With tips off, a 3% platform fee and standard processing of 2.9% plus 30 cents apply. Givebutter Plus starts at $29 a month billed annually ($348 a year), or $33.80 month to month, and is priced by contact count (checked Sep 2026)

Givebutter offers donation forms, fundraising pages, events and ticketing, silent auctions, a donor CRM, marketing tools, website widgets and a mobile app for check-in and in-person payments. The vendor states that 92% of donors cover the cost.

Organizations that switch tips off pay a flat 3% platform fee plus standard processing of 2.9% plus 30 cents.

Givebutter Plus adds automated workflows, task management, an advanced email editor, texting, custom reports, data hygiene tools and discounted direct mail. Its price depends on contact count and starts at $29 a month billed annually. Extra contacts are billed in increments of 100. Givebutter Wallet holds funds and pays rewards on balances, per the vendor.

Potential strengths

  • The free tier includes unlimited users, contacts, campaigns and email blasts
  • Plus can be tested for 30 days without a commitment

Trade-offs

  • The free model depends on donors choosing to tip the platform

smbdonorbox.org ↗
Consider forNonprofits that want to add donation forms and campaigns to an existing website with no subscription, because the Donorbox Standard plan is free
Pricing notesStandard is free with fees between 2.95% and 3.95%. Pro costs $150 a month, with a discount for yearly billing and fees between 1.75% and 2%. Premium is quoted, with fees between 1.6% and 2%. Donorbox Live Kiosk costs $80 a month or $820 a year for the first device and $15 a month for each extra device, plus a 1.75% platform fee and Stripe processing (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateA plan ladder that trades a subscription for lower per-gift fees

Donorbox is an online giving product with a donor CRM. The free Standard plan includes unlimited customizable donation forms and pages, crowdfunding and peer-to-peer campaigns, event ticketing, QuickDonate and reporting. Fees on that plan run between 2.95% and 3.95%.

The paid plans lower the per-gift fee in exchange for a subscription. Pro costs $150 a month, with fees between 1.75% and 2%. It adds advanced form customization, tracking and analytics, receipt white-labeling, Zapier and API access, crypto and stock donations, recurring-gift upsells and Jay·AI. Premium, by quote, adds options such as 24/7 priority support, a customer success manager, custom domains and migration of recurring donors, with fees between 1.6% and 2%.

Donorbox Live Kiosk turns a tablet into an on-site donation point for events and exhibits. The buyer's break-even point depends on annual online volume.

Potential strengths

  • The free Standard plan includes forms, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer and event ticketing
  • The CRM is available on every plan

Trade-offs

  • Standard plan fees are the highest per gift of the fee ranges listed
  • Crypto and stock gifts, API access and receipt white-labeling need Pro

Zeffy

smbzeffy.com ↗
Consider forBudget-constrained nonprofits that sell tickets, memberships and raffles as well as taking donations, because Zeffy charges no fees on any of them
Pricing notesFree. Zeffy states that it charges no platform fee and covers transaction and card fees, and that it earns only from optional tips donors add at checkout. Every feature is included, with no paid tier (checked Sep 2026)
Feature to evaluateNo fee of any kind to the nonprofit, including card processing

Zeffy offers online donations, event ticketing, peer-to-peer campaigns, an online store, raffles and lotteries, auctions, memberships and donor management. The vendor states that all of it is free, with no platform fee and no transaction or card fee. Zeffy covers processing costs itself and earns from optional tips that donors add at checkout.

There is no paid plan, so a small organization gets the same features as a large one. The pricing page compares what a nonprofit keeps on $50,000 raised across several fee models, and the vendor states that more than 100,000 nonprofits use Zeffy.

The trade-off is scope and donor experience. The donor database suits organizations that mostly need receipts and contact history, not moves management or wealth screening. Donors also see the tip request at checkout.

Potential strengths

  • Donations, ticketing, memberships, raffles, auctions and an online store at no cost
  • No paid tier, so every feature is available to every organization

Trade-offs

  • Donors see a tip request at checkout, which some organizations may not want
  • Donor management is lighter than in the dedicated CRMs on this page

Little Green Light

smblittlegreenlight.com ↗
Consider forSmall development teams that need a donor database with online forms at a fixed, published price, because Little Green Light sells one plan priced only by record count

How to choose a vendor

Compare the total cost, not the subscription

A free plan is usually paid for through a platform fee or an optional donor tip. Donorbox Standard charges fees between 2.95% and 3.95% on each gift. Givebutter charges a 3% platform fee only when tips are off. Zeffy funds itself from optional tips. A subscription product such as Little Green Light or Neon CRM adds card processing on top. Model the cost at the organization's real annual online revenue.

Decide which system holds the donor record

A giving-page tool and a donor database can overlap. If the organization already runs Raiser's Edge NXT or another CRM, check that the giving tool writes gifts back to it. If there is no CRM yet, an all-in-one product avoids a second login and a nightly import.

Check the pricing unit before growth

Bloomerang, Little Green Light and Givebutter Plus price by record or contact count. Neon CRM prices by revenue. Blackbaud prices by organization size, users and modules. A list-building campaign can move an organization into a higher tier, so ask each vendor what triggers the next price.

Frequently asked questions

What is nonprofit fundraising software?

Nonprofit fundraising software collects gifts and records the donors who give them. Most products combine online donation forms and campaign pages with a donor database, receipts and reports. Many add events and ticketing, auctions, peer-to-peer campaigns, text giving and email. Larger products add major-gift pipelines, wealth screening and predictive scoring.

How much does nonprofit fundraising software cost?

Prices checked in September 2026 range from free to quote-only. Zeffy is free. Givebutter is free with donor tips, and Donorbox Standard is free with fees of 2.95% to 3.95%. Little Green Light costs $45 to $135 a month up to 50,000 records. Neon CRM starts at $139 a month and Bloomerang's Giving Platform at $242 a month billed annually. Raiser's Edge NXT, Virtuous, DonorPerfect and GoFundMe Pro quote.

Is free fundraising software really free?

Free products earn money another way. Zeffy and Givebutter ask donors for an optional tip at checkout. Givebutter charges a 3% platform fee when tips are off. Donorbox charges a percentage on each gift on its free plan. A nonprofit should compare the total fees at its expected online revenue, and decide whether it accepts a tip request on its forms.

What is the difference between fundraising software and a donor CRM?

Fundraising software collects the gift: forms, pages, events and payments. A donor CRM stores the relationship: giving history, contacts, tasks and reports. Many products now do both. GoFundMe Pro and Donorbox start from online giving. Raiser's Edge NXT, DonorPerfect, Little Green Light and Virtuous start from the database. Bloomerang and Neon CRM sell both as one product.

Which fundraising software suits small nonprofits?

Zeffy, Givebutter, Donorbox and Little Green Light publish their prices and target smaller organizations. Zeffy and Givebutter have free models. Little Green Light has a fixed subscription from $45 a month with unlimited users. Bloomerang and Neon CRM publish starting prices for organizations that want forms and a CRM in one system.

Which products suit large nonprofits with major-gift programs?

Raiser's Edge NXT tracks prospects through five stages and ranks major-gift candidates with Prospect Insights. Virtuous sells Momentum, an AI agent that prioritizes donors for gift officers. DonorPerfect includes moves management from its Plus plan. All three quote their prices.

How is pricing calculated for donor databases?

Vendors use different units. Bloomerang and Little Green Light price by record count, and Givebutter Plus by contact count. Neon CRM prices by revenue and states that it has no record caps. Blackbaud prices by organization size, users, modules and support. Donorbox and Givebutter's free tier earn from fees on each gift.

How was this list compiled?

StatWharf Editorial read each vendor's own pricing and product pages in September 2026. No product was tested hands-on and no vendor confirmed its entry. Entries with a dated source check appear first, and that order does not rank quality or buyer fit.
