Best Inventory Management Software for Shopify (2026): Top 8 Compared
Every product below is sold as a Shopify app or describes Shopify brands as its main buyer on its own website. The eight split by the job they do. Trunk, Syncio and Sumtracker keep stock counts matched across several Shopify stores, marketplaces or duplicate listings. Assisty, EasyScan and Fabrikatör handle replenishment inside Shopify: demand forecasts, reorder points and purchase orders, and several now describe themselves as replacements for Stocky, the Shopify app retired on 31 August 2026. SKUSavvy is a mobile warehouse management system for merchants that pick and pack their own Shopify orders. Craftybase tracks raw materials and production for small-batch makers who sell finished goods through Shopify. All eight publish price figures, and the pricing basis ranges from monthly orders and annual orders to imported products, annual revenue and the merchant's Shopify plan.

Inventory management software for Shopify extends the stock tools built into the Shopify admin. A Shopify store can track quantities by location on its own, but merchants add apps when stock has to stay matched across several stores or marketplaces, when reorders need forecasting and purchase orders, when a warehouse team scans and picks, or when products are made from raw materials. Each of those jobs is served by a different kind of app, and most apps on this page do one or two of them well rather than all four.
This page is a separate list from the main inventory management software comparison, which covers Cin7 Core, Katana, Fishbowl, Linnworks and other broader platforms. Vendors here were selected on documented Shopify fit: a Shopify App Store listing or a website that names Shopify brands as the buyer. Every claim below comes from the vendor’s own listing or pages, checked on 11 October 2026.
How a Shopify store should shortlist
Three documented differences separate the eight products. The first is the job: Trunk and Syncio sync stock, Assisty, EasyScan and Fabrikatör plan replenishment, Sumtracker does both, SKUSavvy runs the warehouse floor and Craftybase tracks production. The second is the unit of price, which ranges from monthly orders to annual revenue and the merchant’s Shopify plan. The third is the channel reach: some apps work only inside Shopify, while Trunk, Sumtracker, SKUSavvy and Craftybase also document marketplaces such as Amazon or Etsy. Entries appear with dated source checks first; the order is not a ranking.
Vendor details and trade-offs
Trunk is a stock sync app. Its Shopify App Store listing says it keeps stock levels synced in real time between matching SKUs everywhere a merchant sells, so that a sale on one channel reduces the count on all the others. The listed channels include multiple Shopify shops, Amazon, Bandcamp, BigCommerce, eBay, Etsy, Faire, QuickBooks Online, Square POS, Squarespace, TikTok, Walmart, Wix, WooCommerce and Xero.
The listing also describes a single-store use. A merchant that sells nowhere else can use Trunk to keep bundles and duplicate SKUs synced within one Shopify store, for example a multi-pack that draws on the same units as the single item. Bundling and kitting track components and materials, and low stock alerts flag items to replenish.
Two plans are listed. Essential covers real-time syncing, low stock alerts, unlimited sales channels and live chat and email support. The second plan adds bundling, kitting and duplicate SKU syncing. Both are priced by monthly order volume, and both come with a 14-day free trial. Trunk lists its developer address in Los Angeles and its App Store launch as 29 August 2019.
Trunk does not document purchase orders, supplier management or forecasting on the listing, so a merchant that needs reorder planning would pair it with a replenishment tool.
Potential strengths
- Unlimited sales channels are included from the Essential plan
- Bundles, kits and duplicate SKUs within one Shopify store can be synced on the higher plan
- Published prices for each monthly order band up to 800 orders
Trade-offs
- Purchase orders and demand forecasting are not documented on the listing
- Bundling and duplicate SKU syncing are not included in Essential
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Billed every 30 days through Shopify, priced by monthly orders
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
Sumtracker titles its website "Inventory Management Software for Shopify brands" and describes inventory management and replenishment for Shopify and Amazon brands. The pricing page states that plans are priced by the total number of sales orders in a year rather than by revenue.
The Manage plan covers real-time sync between multiple stores, sync between duplicate listings, automatic detection of order edits, refunds, returns and cancellations, bundle and component sync for up to 50,000 bundles, reading Amazon FBA inventory, inventory adjustments with audit logs, stocktakes and cycle counts on phones, tablets or barcode scanners, low stock alerts, CSV bulk updates and API access. It can also cap the quantity shown on eBay and Etsy.
The Replenish plan adds purchase orders, stock transfers, 12-month forecasting, AI reorder suggestions, warehouse-level permissions and QuickBooks integration. The homepage also lists landed cost tracking and raw material planning. Both plans include up to 10 warehouses, 10 sales channels and one million SKUs.
Sumtracker documents real-time multi-store sync and purchase-order replenishment in the same product, which the sync-only and planning-only apps on this page do not. A Shopify store that needs only one of those jobs may find a narrower app cheaper.
Potential strengths
- Pricing is set by annual order count and published for six volume bands
- Bundles, stocktakes, barcode scanning and API access are included in the lower plan
- Replenish adds 12-month forecasting, reorder suggestions, purchase orders and QuickBooks integration
Trade-offs
- Purchase orders and forecasting require Replenish, which roughly doubles the entry price
- More than 10 channels or 10 warehouses requires custom pricing
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Monthly or annual, priced by annual sales orders
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
Assisty's App Store listing describes AI inventory management for multi-location brands and calls the app a complete Stocky alternative, with automatic migration of suppliers and purchase orders. Its stated scope is forecasting demand, calculating reorder points, automating purchase orders, running stock takes, adjusting and transferring stock, and planning replenishment across every location and SKU.
Four plans are listed. Basic is free and covers sales and inventory tracking, multi-location tracking, low stock and out-of-stock reports, sales analysis by product and vendor, an AI report builder and six months of sales history. Professional adds seasonal, trend and bundle demand forecasts, reordering from the forecast, stock alerts, sell-through, ABC, aging and dead stock reports, and full sales history.
Replenishment adds machine-learning forecasting, a buying table and calendar, purchase orders with receiving and automation, warehouse-to-store transfer suggestions and stock takes. Enterprise, listed for Shopify Plus stores, adds personalised onboarding and custom reports.
Paid plan prices are given as ranges that depend on the merchant's Shopify plan, so a store on a larger Shopify plan pays more for the same Assisty tier. The listing works with Shopify Flow and Bundles.app but does not describe sync to Amazon or other marketplaces.
Potential strengths
- A free Basic plan tracks sales and inventory across locations
- Replenishment covers purchase orders, receiving, stock takes and adjustments
- Works with Shopify Flow and Bundles.app
Trade-offs
- The published figure is a floor because the price rises with the merchant's Shopify plan
- Sync to marketplaces outside Shopify is not documented
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Billed every 30 days through Shopify; price varies by Shopify plan
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
EasyScan is built by 506 and listed on the Shopify App Store with a Built for Shopify badge. The listing describes it as a complete Stocky replacement covering purchase orders, demand forecasting, stocktakes and low stock alerts, alongside a barcode and SKU generator. The 506 website states that the app is used by more than 8,400 Shopify stores, a vendor figure not checked independently.
Plans build on one another. Basic covers unlimited barcode and SKU generation, automatic assignment to products, unlimited label printing, custom label templates and bulk printing. Standard adds scan-based picking, packing, fulfilment and order checking, inventory checks, stock transfers, bin locations and a put-away flow, and low stock alerts. Advanced adds purchase orders and transfer orders, demand forecasting with Smart Generate, AI insights and order logs, six user accounts and priority support. A fourth tier adds unlimited users, location roles and order batches.
The documentation describes stocktakes by barcode or by hand for one Shopify location at a time, with a review step before adjustments are pushed to Shopify. The website says Smart Generate drafts purchase orders from each variant's sales velocity, filled to min and max levels.
EasyScan works inside Shopify, Shopify POS and Shopify Flow. It does not document sync to other marketplaces.
Potential strengths
- Entry plan at $9.99 per month for barcode and SKU generation and label printing
- Shopify App Store shows a Built for Shopify badge
- Advanced includes purchase orders, transfer orders and sales-velocity forecasting
Trade-offs
- Purchase orders and forecasting start at Advanced, $79.99 per month
- Advanced is limited to six user accounts
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Monthly through Shopify
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
Fabrikatör describes itself on the Shopify App Store as AI inventory management and forecasting that replaces manual spreadsheets and sunsetting systems such as Stocky. The app forecasts demand at SKU level from sales history and then automates purchase order creation with quantities and timing, while tracking supplier costs and lead times.
The listing documents management across multiple warehouses and multiple stores, backorders when products sell out, pre-orders, bundle planning and exportable stock health reports. Integrations named are Klaviyo, QuickBooks, Xero, ShipHero, Katana and bundle builder apps.
Pricing is set by annual revenue rather than by orders or users. Three bands are published at $99, $149 and $199 per month, covering stores up to $500k, $1.5M and $2.5M. Each includes the same feature set and adds a $0.75 charge per backorder after the first 50. Stores above $2.5M are priced through a calculator on the Fabrikatör website and receive an extended trial, personal onboarding, free data migration and a dedicated account manager.
Fabrikatör is a planning tool. It does not document barcode picking, packing or shipping, so merchants that fulfil in-house would pair it with Shopify's own fulfilment or a warehouse tool.
Potential strengths
- Every revenue band includes the same planning, purchase order, bundle and report features
- Backorders and pre-orders are handled in the app
- Integrations listed with Klaviyo, QuickBooks, Xero, ShipHero and Katana
Trade-offs
- Price rises with store revenue rather than with use of the app
- Backorders above 50 a month are charged at $0.75 each
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Billed every 30 days, priced by annual revenue band plus backorder usage
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
SKUSavvy is a mobile warehouse management system for in-house Shopify fulfilment. Its listing describes floor work done in a phone browser, a 3D bin map so pickers see the location rather than a code, and pick routing on the merchant's real layout. Orders, products and inventory sync both ways with Shopify.
Beyond picking, the listing documents Autopilot shipping, which rate-shops carriers and buys postage, label creation and customisation, customs documents, address validation and branded tracking pages. Forecasting and purchase order automation use sales velocity for reorders. An AI assistant called SavvyBot answers questions on the floor. Listed integrations include Shopify POS, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, ShipEngine and Inventory Planner.
There is one plan. It costs $179 per month and includes the first 250 orders, after which a per-order charge applies, falling from $0.19 to $0.06 as volume rises. Purchase orders, POS orders and transfers count as orders. Seats, SKUs and warehouses are unlimited, and postage is billed separately. The developer is based in Austin, Texas, and the listing shows a launch date of 21 March 2025.
SKUSavvy suits a merchant that ships its own parcels. A store that uses a third-party logistics provider would need less of what it offers.
Potential strengths
- Unlimited seats, SKUs and warehouses in a single plan
- Rate shopping and postage purchase are included in the app
- Forecasting and purchase order automation are listed alongside warehouse tasks
Trade-offs
- Highest entry price on this page at $179 per month
- Purchase orders, POS orders and transfers count toward the per-order usage charge
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Monthly plus per-order usage, billed every 30 days
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
Syncio connects separate online stores so that the same products share stock. Its Shopify App Store listing describes importing products from a source store into a destination store and keeping inventory updated in real time by SKU or barcode. It also syncs product fields such as descriptions, prices, tags and images, and supports multi-location inventory with a choice of locations to sync from.
The listing names two kinds of use. One is a merchant running several stores, for example regional Shopify stores. The other is collaboration between businesses, where a retailer lists a brand's products and Syncio forwards orders to the brand for fulfilment and calculates revenue splits through its payouts feature. A Syncio Marketplace helps suppliers and retailers find each other.
Destination store plans are priced by how many products are imported. The free plan covers 25 products with real-time sync, unlimited source stores, five order pushes and five payouts a month. Paid plans run from $19 for up to 100 products to $39 for up to 1,000, with order, product settings and payout add-ons billed separately. Source store plans are priced on Syncio's website.
Syncio works with Shopify and WooCommerce only. It does not document purchase orders, forecasting or marketplace channels such as Amazon.
Potential strengths
- A free plan covers real-time sync for up to 25 products
- Merchants choose which Shopify locations to sync from
- A marketplace helps connect suppliers and retailers
Trade-offs
- Limited to Shopify and WooCommerce stores
- Order forwarding, product settings and payouts carry separate add-on charges
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Billed every 30 days, priced by imported products plus add-ons
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026
- Vendor confirmation: not confirmed
Craftybase describes itself as an all-in-one inventory and production system for small-batch makers. Where the other apps on this page count finished goods, Craftybase starts with the materials. The vendor documents raw material and component tracking, multi-stage bills of materials, sub-assemblies, batch production, lot numbers and expiry dates, and cost of goods calculated from actual production.
Stock levels from the workshop are synced to sales channels, and orders and fees are imported from channels such as Shopify and Etsy. Other listed channels include Amazon, Faire, Square, Wix and WooCommerce. The vendor also mentions purchase orders, low stock alerts and pricing guidance based on production costs.
Four plans are published on the vendor's pricing page. Studio costs $49 per month and adds multi-user inventory and recipe management. Indie costs $99 and includes 1,000 order lines a month. Business costs $199 with 5,000 order lines, and Growth costs $349 with more than 5,000. Annual billing saves about 17%, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
Craftybase fits a business that makes what it sells. A reseller buying finished goods would use few of its production features.
Potential strengths
- Shopify integration syncs Shopify stock and imports orders, per the vendor's Shopify page
- Unlimited materials and products on the published plans
- 14-day free trial with no credit card on every plan
Trade-offs
- Entry plan is $49 per month, above several apps on this page
- Order-line limits apply: 1,000 a month on Indie and 5,000 on Business
- Product reference
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Monthly or annual; annual saves about 17%
- Source review: checked Oct 11, 2026

Frequently asked questions
What is inventory management software for Shopify?
It is software that connects to a Shopify store and manages stock beyond what the Shopify admin does on its own. Depending on the product, that means syncing counts across several stores or marketplaces, forecasting demand and raising purchase orders, scanning stock in and out of a warehouse, or tracking the raw materials used to make products. All eight vendors on this page are sold as Shopify apps or name Shopify brands as their main buyer.
How is this page different from the main inventory management software comparison?
The main inventory management software comparison covers broader platforms such as Cin7 Core, Katana, Fishbowl, Linnworks and Brightpearl, several of which also connect to Shopify. The ecommerce inventory management software page covers multichannel tools such as Zoho Inventory, Veeqo and Prediko. This page lists a separate set of eight products, each chosen because it is sold through the Shopify App Store or names Shopify brands as its target buyer.
What replaced Stocky?
Shopify's help centre states that Stocky was removed from the App Store on 2 February 2026 and stopped working on 31 August 2026, with read-only export access for at least 90 days after that. Shopify directs merchants to the inventory features in the Shopify admin and Shopify POS. Assisty, EasyScan and Fabrikatör each describe themselves on their listings as Stocky replacements, and Assisty documents automatic migration of suppliers and purchase orders.
How much does Shopify inventory software cost?
Entry prices on this page run from free for Assisty Basic and Syncio's 25-product plan, and $9.99 per month for EasyScan Basic, to $179 per month for SKUSavvy. Purchase orders and forecasting cost more: $39 or more for Assisty Replenishment, $79.99 for EasyScan Advanced, $99 for Fabrikatör and $119 for Sumtracker Replenish. Each vendor meters a different unit, so the same store can land in very different bands.
Which tools keep stock synced across several Shopify stores?
Trunk, Syncio and Sumtracker all document multi-store sync. Trunk also connects marketplaces and point-of-sale systems such as Amazon, Etsy, Faire and Square. Syncio links Shopify and WooCommerce stores and adds order forwarding and payouts for partner stores. Sumtracker syncs up to 10 stores and adds purchase orders on its Replenish plan. Fabrikatör lists multi-store support for planning rather than sync.
Which tools handle barcode scanning and warehouse picking?
EasyScan documents barcode and SKU generation, label printing, scan-based receiving, stocktakes, picking and order checking. SKUSavvy is a mobile warehouse system with a 3D bin map, pick routing, rate shopping and postage purchase. Sumtracker lists stocktakes and cycle counts with barcode scanners. The other products on this page focus on sync or planning rather than warehouse work.
What should a maker who produces goods use?
Craftybase is the only product on this page built around production. It tracks raw materials, multi-stage bills of materials, batches, lot numbers and expiry dates, and calculates cost of goods. Trunk and Sumtracker can track bundles and components that share stock, which covers simple kits but not production runs.
How was this comparison compiled?
Each vendor's Shopify App Store listing, website and, where separate, pricing page were read on 11 October 2026. Every price comes from the vendor's own listing or pricing page. No product was installed or used, App Store ratings were not used to order entries, and no vendor confirmed the details. Entries with dated source checks appear first; the order within that group is content sequence, not a ranking. App prices change often, so buyers should confirm terms before installing.
