Best Contract Management Software for Healthcare (2026): Top 10 Compared

Updated October 2026By StatWharf Editorial10 vendorsMethodology

Contract management software for healthcare is bought by hospitals, health systems, physician groups, payers and senior living operators whose contracts carry regulatory weight: physician agreements under Stark and Anti-Kickback rules, business associate agreements under HIPAA, GPO and supplier pricing, and payer reimbursement terms. Every vendor below publishes a healthcare product or a dedicated healthcare industry page. The ten split into three groups. symplr Contract, Ntracts and skyCLM are built only for healthcare. Contract Logix, IntelAgree, CobbleStone, Contracts 365 and Signeasy are general contract platforms with documented healthcare packages, templates or compliance features. Genesis and Ecteon Contraxx address narrower jobs: supply contract enforcement at the point of order, and high-volume provider and plan contracts for payers and provider networks. One of the ten publishes prices; nine quote.

These comparisons draw on public product information, not hands-on testing of every tool. Source records identify available references and checks; missing evidence is marked. Buyer fit is an editorial assessment, not a measured performance score. How to use this research.

Contract management software for healthcare handles the agreements that hospitals, health systems, physician groups, payers and senior living operators sign: physician employment and medical-director agreements, business associate agreements, GPO and supplier contracts, payer and provider network agreements, and admission agreements. What separates healthcare products from general contract tools is the regulation behind those contracts. Healthcare products document fair market value and Stark records for physician pay, BAA tracking for HIPAA, supply pricing tied to GPO feeds, and reimbursement terms held as data.

This page is written for health system legal, compliance, supply chain and managed care teams. It is a separate list from the general contract management software comparison, which covers cross-industry platforms such as Ironclad, Icertis and Docusign CLM. Vendors here were selected on documented healthcare focus: a healthcare-only product, or a dedicated healthcare page describing healthcare contract types and regulations. In-house legal teams outside healthcare should see contract management software for legal departments. Every claim below comes from the vendor’s own pages, checked on 11 October 2026.

How a healthcare organization should shortlist

Three documented differences separate the ten vendors. The first is which contracts drive the purchase: symplr and Contract Logix document physician and Stark controls, IntelAgree and Signeasy centre on BAAs and supplier paper, Genesis enforces supply pricing, and Ecteon and skyCLM document payer, provider and admission agreements. The second is integration: symplr names Workday, Oracle and Infor, Ntracts names Epic, and Contracts 365 runs inside Microsoft 365. The third is price visibility: Signeasy publishes per-seat prices, and the other nine quote. Entries appear with dated source checks first; the order is not a ranking.

Vendor details and trade-offs

symplr Contract

specialistsymplr.com ↗
Consider forHospitals and health systems whose supply chain, legal and compliance teams share contracts and need Stark, Anti-Kickback and conflict-of-interest controls, as symplr documents on its symplr Contract page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the product page; buyers request a demo (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateObligation tracking covers provider time logging, gift alerts and conflict-of-interest automation tied to Stark and Anti-Kickback requirements

symplr sells healthcare operations software, and symplr Contract is its contract lifecycle product. The product page states that it ships with 12 pre-built workflows for physician agreements, supply chain requests and vendor management, and pre-approved templates that include a business associate agreement.

Compliance features are the main reason a health system would look at it. symplr describes conflict-of-interest tracking, gift monitoring and exclusion notifications enforced against HIPAA, Stark and Anti-Kickback requirements, and obligation tracking that includes provider time tracking. AI-assisted review and redlining runs against custom or standard playbooks inside what symplr calls a HITRUST-certified environment, and a conversational assistant answers questions across contracts, workflows and vendors.

For supply chain, the page documents ERP integration with Workday, Oracle and Infor to compare spend with contract terms, renewal and expiration alerts, and risk tools such as continuity and force majeure clause search and alternate supplier identification. symplr Contract fits a health system that wants legal, compliance and supply chain on one contract record. Performance figures on the page are symplr's own and have not been independently verified.

Potential strengths

  • Twelve pre-built healthcare workflows covering physician agreements, supply chain requests and vendor management
  • Pre-approved templates include a business associate agreement
  • Native ERP integration with Workday, Oracle and Infor, plus a link to symplr Value Analysis

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Most valuable inside the wider symplr platform; a buyer not using other symplr products should ask what is lost

Ntracts

specialistntracts.com ↗
Consider forMulti-entity health systems, physician groups, community health centres and FQHCs, and payers managing provider networks, the four buyer types Ntracts names on its healthcare CLM page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site; buyers request a demo (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateNames HRSA documentation for FQHCs as a supported use case, alongside health system, physician group and payer contracting

Ntracts sells contract lifecycle management only to healthcare organizations. Its healthcare CLM page groups the product into four parts: contract lifecycle management with renewal alerts, obligation tracking and audit reporting; workflow automation with approvals built around healthcare roles and e-signature; AI contract negotiation delivered in partnership with DocJuris; and document generation from pre-approved healthcare templates.

The FAQ names four buyer types. Multi-entity health systems get centralized contracts and approvals across locations; physician groups get provider onboarding and contracting; community health organizations and FQHCs get HRSA requirements and supporting documents in one place; and payers get standardized provider agreements and renewals.

Ntracts states that it integrates with major EHR platforms including Epic, and with ERP systems, and that credentialing, payroll and provider compensation integrations are available through partners. Renewal management triggers action workflows rather than only email alerts. Implementation and retention figures on the page are Ntracts' own and were not independently verified. Ntracts fits a healthcare organization that wants a vendor with no other industries to serve.

Potential strengths

  • Documents integration with Epic and ERP systems, plus credentialing, payroll and provider compensation tools through partners
  • Decision-tree intake surveys generate contracts from pre-approved healthcare templates
  • Implementation includes healthcare data and compliance staff who map legacy records before go-live

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • AI negotiation relies on a partnership with DocJuris, so buyers should confirm how that component is contracted and supported

Contract Logix

mid-marketcontractlogix.com ↗
Consider forMulti-entity health systems that need physician agreements, fair market value documentation, BAAs and payer rate tables held as structured data across hospitals and departments, as Contract Logix documents on its health systems page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site. Contract Logix's pricing model page describes three subscription types, Full, Read Only and Submitter, at different price points (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateHealthcare Package adds templates and AI review playbooks for BAAs, physician employment and services, and managed care, authored with a healthcare law firm

Contract Logix is a general contract lifecycle platform with a dedicated health systems page. The page describes custom data objects that model payer rates, physician compensation, BAAs and obligations, with AI extraction at line-item level, and an organization hierarchy that places each contract at the system, hospital, department or provider level.

For physician arrangements, Contract Logix documents employment, medical-director and professional-services agreements stored with compensation terms, renewal dates and fair market value documentation. Compliance features include FMV attestations and BAA terms applied in workflow, audit trails prepared for OIG, Corporate Integrity Agreement or Joint Commission review, and alerts on lapsing BAAs.

The optional Healthcare Package adds templates and 15 review playbooks authored with Horty Springer, a US healthcare law firm, covering BAAs, physician employment and services, and managed care. Revenue features surface payer rate tables and rebate schedules including GPO and 340B. Contract Logix fits a health system with many entities and thousands of physician arrangements that wants one platform for buy-side and sell-side contracts.

Potential strengths

  • Organization hierarchy models the system, hospitals, departments and providers so contracts roll up across entities
  • Physician compensation held with FMV thresholds and Stark and Anti-Kickback documentation
  • Lists SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA, hosted on Microsoft Azure

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Healthcare templates and playbooks are an optional package, so buyers should confirm it is in the quote

IntelAgree

mid-marketintelagree.com ↗
Consider forHealth systems whose supply chain, procurement and legal teams review third-party supplier, GPO and BAA-bound paper, and that also want payer, provider and research agreements in the same repository, as IntelAgree documents on its healthcare page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site; buyers request a demo or walkthrough (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateAI reads vendor paper against the health system's master agreement and playbook, with a person approving at each documented gate

IntelAgree is an AI contract management platform with a healthcare page aimed at supply chain, procurement, legal and compliance teams. The page splits a health system's agreements into two sides. On the buy side it lists supplier and vendor MSAs, GPO agreements, business associate agreements, statements of work and purchased services. On the sell side it lists payer and managed-care contracts, provider and network agreements, research and clinical-trial agreements, affiliations and joint ventures, and physician and employment agreements.

The documented workflow runs from intake, where incoming paper is read and classified as a BAA, vendor or GPO agreement, through AI review against the customer's playbook, negotiation, approval, execution and renewal. IntelAgree describes surfacing renewals, price caps and termination windows before they pass, and tracking which vendors handling PHI have a current BAA.

IntelAgree states it is HIPAA compliant, SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant. It fits a health system whose bottleneck is a lean legal team reviewing a high volume of supplier paper. Buyers should ask which integrations exist for their ERP, because the healthcare page does not name them.

Potential strengths

  • Documents both buy-side contracts (supplier MSAs, GPO, BAAs, purchased services) and sell-side contracts (payer, provider, research, affiliations)
  • Intake classifies incoming paper as a BAA, vendor or GPO agreement and routes it automatically
  • States HIPAA compliance and SOC 2 Type II

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • No healthcare-specific ERP or EHR integrations are named on the healthcare page

CobbleStone Contract Insight

mid-marketcobblestonesoftware.com ↗
Consider forHospital contract management teams, healthcare organizations and insurance providers that want a general CLM with HIPAA, HITECH and Stark Law support listed for healthcare, as CobbleStone documents on its healthcare page
Pricing notesNo price is published; CobbleStone's site links to a request-pricing form (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateHealthcare page lists HIPAA and HITECH readiness, audit trails and Stark Law support beside AI clause risk detection

CobbleStone Software sells Contract Insight, a contract lifecycle management platform used across industries. Its healthcare page states that the product is used by hospital contract management professionals, healthcare organizations and insurance providers.

The page lists five capability groups. The contract repository is centralized and searchable with secure access across departments, retrieval for audits, and renewal and expiration reminders. Compliance guardrails are listed as HIPAA and HITECH readiness, audit trail tracking and Stark Law support. The workflow engine handles automated approvals and e-signature integration. VISDOM AI provides clause risk detection, data extraction and contract analysis. System integrations cover EHR, ERP and CRM connectivity.

CobbleStone also offers a healthcare resource bundle of templates and tips. CobbleStone fits a hospital or insurer that wants a configurable general CLM with stated healthcare compliance features rather than a healthcare-only vendor. The healthcare page lists features in brief, so buyers should ask to see Stark Law support and the named EHR integration working in a demo.

Potential strengths

  • Healthcare page lists EHR, ERP and CRM connectivity
  • VISDOM AI handles clause risk detection and data extraction
  • Workflow engine covers approvals and e-signature integration

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Healthcare page describes features in short lists, so depth of Stark and HIPAA support needs a demo to judge

Contracts 365

mid-marketcontracts365.com ↗
Consider forHospitals, clinics and physician organizations already standardized on Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 that want contract data to stay in their own cloud, as Contracts 365 documents on its healthcare page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site; buyers request a demo or schedule a call (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateFlexible data model can attach CPT codes and rates to contracts to support billing

Contracts 365 is a contract management product built on Microsoft 365. Its healthcare page, Contracts 365 for Healthcare, names hospitals, clinics, physicians, nurses and allied health professionals as the contracting groups it was designed for.

The healthcare features listed are obligation management for HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, automated approval workflows, integration with Microsoft infrastructure, and a flexible data model that can hold Current Procedural Terminology codes and rates within contracts. The FAQ also mentions credentialing workflows and HIPAA-compliant repositories.

The main architectural difference is storage. Contracts 365 keeps contracts and contract data in the customer's own Microsoft 365 cloud and SharePoint rather than a vendor-controlled cloud, and uses existing Microsoft security standards and credentials. The general features page describes AI extraction of metadata, contract generation with playbooks and clause libraries, DocuSign and Adobe Sign integration, redlining with version history, and Dynamics 365 and Salesforce integration. Contracts 365 fits a healthcare organization whose IT team prefers contract data under its own Microsoft tenancy.

Potential strengths

  • Uses the customer's Microsoft 365 cloud and SharePoint as the repository
  • Works inside Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Dynamics 365, with a Salesforce integration
  • Integrated with DocuSign and Adobe Sign

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Best suited to organizations committed to Microsoft; others gain less from the hosting model

skyCLM (Skypoint)

specialistskypoint.ai ↗
Consider forHealthcare payers, providers and senior living organizations that want pre-configured payer, provider, BAA and admission agreement templates, as Skypoint documents on its skyCLM page
Pricing notesNo price is published for skyCLM; buyers request a demo (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateOnly product here that documents senior living admission agreements, with routing to residents and families

Skypoint sells AI applications to healthcare and senior living organizations, and skyCLM is its contract lifecycle product. The skyCLM page states that it was built exclusively for healthcare payers, providers and senior living, with pre-configured templates for payer and provider agreements, BAAs, MSAs, vendor contracts and admission agreements.

Documented features cover drafting from pre-approved clause libraries with fields pre-filled from EHR or CRM data, routing to signers including residents, families, physicians and legal, a redline portal that counterparties use without logging in, and extraction of key terms, obligation dates and renewal windows after signing. Skypoint's AI agent also imports existing contracts from files, SharePoint or email.

Skypoint states that most customers go live in days, and that its platform runs on a HITRUST r2-certified layer. Cycle-time figures on the page are Skypoint's own. skyCLM fits a senior living operator or a regional payer or provider that wants healthcare templates without a long configuration project.

Potential strengths

  • Pre-configured templates for payer and provider agreements, BAAs, MSAs, vendor contracts and admission agreements
  • No-login portal lets counterparties redline directly
  • Part of a platform that Skypoint states runs on a HITRUST r2-certified layer

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Contract management is one of more than 25 Skypoint applications, so buyers should confirm what a standalone purchase includes

Signeasy

smbsigneasy.com ↗
Consider forClinics and healthcare teams that want e-signature for consents and contracts, BAA and physician agreement templates, a searchable repository and renewal reminders, as Signeasy documents on its healthcare contract management page
Pricing notesPersonal USD 10, Business USD 20 and Business Pro USD 30 per seat a month, billed yearly (USD 120, 240 and 360 a year). A custom Build Your Plan option for 5+ seats or high document volume lists HIPAA compliance, SSO and 21 CFR Part 11 among its benefits (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateAI Insights extracts rates, obligations and key dates from payer contracts and answers questions about them

Signeasy is an e-signature and contract management product with a dedicated healthcare page. The page addresses four problems: vendors handling patient data on expired BAAs, consent forms moving on paper, payer reimbursement terms nobody checks, and audits that require documents from several systems.

Documented features include HIPAA-compliant signing for consent forms, intake documents and contracts with signer verification and two-factor authentication; locked templates for BAAs, consents, physician agreements and vendor contracts; a searchable repository organized by facility, department or payer with bulk import; separate workspaces per department with role-based access; AI Insights that extracts rates, obligations and dates; and renewal reminders set 7 to 90 days ahead.

The pricing page lists Personal at USD 10, Business at USD 20 and Business Pro at USD 30 per seat a month, billed yearly, with a 100-day money-back guarantee on yearly plans. HIPAA compliance is listed among the benefits of the custom Build Your Plan option for five or more seats. A healthcare buyer should confirm the plan and BAA before handling PHI. Signeasy fits a clinic or practice that needs signing and renewal tracking more than enterprise CLM.

Potential strengths

  • Only vendor on this page with published per-seat prices
  • Templates for BAAs, consent forms, physician agreements and vendor contracts with locked language
  • Renewal reminders detect expiry dates and notice windows 7 to 90 days ahead

Trade-offs

  • HIPAA compliance appears under the custom plan, so the published seat prices may not apply to PHI workflows
  • An e-signature-led product without the Stark, FMV or ERP features of health system CLMs

Genesis Contract Management

specialistgenesisahc.com ↗
Consider forHospital materials management and supply chain teams that need GPO and local supply contracts enforced on every purchase order and invoice, as Genesis documents on its contract management page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site; buyers request a demo (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateNightly GPO contract feeds from Vizient, Premier and HealthTrust, with AI matching of contract lines to the item catalog

Genesis describes itself as a clinical lifecycle management platform for supply chain in the operating room, cath lab and bedside. Its contract management product addresses a different job from the CLMs above: making sure negotiated supply prices are actually paid.

The product page describes loading GPO contracts from Vizient, Premier and HealthTrust through nightly feeds, along with local agreements, manufacturer-direct terms, capitated constructs, tiered pricing and future-dated terms. AI matches each contract line to catalog items within 24 hours. When a buyer searches for an item, contracted options appear first with contract pricing applied, and off-contract attempts trigger approval routing. Each invoice is validated against contract pricing before payment.

Rebate Management and a managed Contract Services engagement are described as extensions. Customer results on the page are Genesis's own. Genesis fits a hospital supply chain team losing money to price variance and off-contract buying, and is typically used alongside a CLM rather than instead of one.

Potential strengths

  • Loads GPO, local, manufacturer-direct and tiered pricing contracts into one repository
  • Rebate Management validates and accrues earned rebates
  • Contract Services managed engagement can load and maintain contracts for the customer

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Focused on supply pricing compliance rather than drafting, negotiation or physician agreements

Ecteon Contraxx

enterpriseecteon.com ↗
Consider forHealth insurers, healthcare networks and hospitals managing large volumes of provider, group plan and procurement contracts with heavy regulatory filing, as Ecteon documents on its healthcare page
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site; buyers contact Ecteon's sales team (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateSupports approvals on component parts of contracts and regulatory document packages for provider and group contracts

Ecteon sells Contraxx, a contract lifecycle platform, and its healthcare page addresses hospitals, healthcare networks and insurance providers. The emphasis is on organizations that manage thousands of provider and group contracts under state and federal regulation.

The page lists the provider contract types Contraxx handles: fee-for-service and capitation hospital arrangements, skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory surgery and behavioural centres, alternative care centres, IPAs and medical groups, and ancillary and physician agreements. It describes support for several contracting communities, such as provider, group plan management and procurement, each with its own process; regulatory document management covering filing, package assembly, mailing and new signatures; and approvals on component parts of a contract. Performance dashboards track provider, physician group and supplier metrics.

Ecteon names Blue Shield of California, Kaiser Permanente Northwest and Nemours as Contraxx customers, with case studies on its site. Contraxx fits a health plan or integrated delivery network whose contract volume is driven by provider network and plan documents.

Potential strengths

  • Covers fee-for-service and capitation hospital arrangements, skilled nursing, ambulatory surgery, IPA and medical group and ancillary agreements
  • Separate configurations for provider, group plan and procurement contracting communities
  • Named healthcare customers include Blue Shield of California, Kaiser Permanente Northwest and Nemours

Trade-offs

  • No published pricing
  • Healthcare page is weighted to payers; a hospital buying mainly for supply or physician contracts should compare health system tools

How to choose a vendor

Name the contract types that carry the risk

Physician employment and medical-director agreements, BAAs, GPO and supplier contracts and payer contracts each need different data and controls. symplr and Contract Logix document physician compensation, fair market value and Stark tracking; IntelAgree and Signeasy put BAA coverage at the centre; Genesis enforces GPO and local supply pricing; Ecteon and skyCLM document payer and provider network agreements. Shortlist on the contract types that generate audit findings today.

Check the systems the contracts must connect to

symplr documents native ERP integration with Workday, Oracle and Infor; Ntracts documents Epic and ERP integration; CobbleStone lists EHR, ERP and CRM connectivity; Contracts 365 runs inside Microsoft 365 and Dynamics; Genesis loads nightly GPO feeds from Vizient, Premier and HealthTrust. Ask each finalist to show the integration with the exact ERP or EHR in use rather than a slide listing it.

Confirm HIPAA terms before contract data moves

Contracts that name patients, rates or physician pay are sensitive. symplr states its AI review runs in a HITRUST-certified environment; Contract Logix lists SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA; IntelAgree states HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II; Signeasy lists HIPAA compliance under its custom plan. Buyers should request a signed BAA and the current audit report from each finalist, and confirm which plan the HIPAA commitment applies to.

Frequently asked questions

What is contract management software for healthcare?

It is contract software used by hospitals, health systems, physician groups, payers and senior living operators to draft, approve, sign, store and track agreements. Healthcare products add controls that general tools often lack, such as physician compensation and fair market value records for Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance, business associate agreement tracking for HIPAA, GPO and supplier pricing, and payer rate data.

How is this page different from the general contract management software comparison?

The general contract management software comparison covers cross-industry platforms such as Ironclad, Icertis, Docusign CLM, Agiloft and Sirion. This page lists only vendors that publish a healthcare product or a dedicated healthcare industry page describing healthcare contract types or regulations. None of the ten vendors here appear on the general page.

Which of these vendors publish prices?

One does. Signeasy lists Personal at USD 10, Business at USD 20 and Business Pro at USD 30 per seat a month, billed yearly, and lists HIPAA compliance under its custom plan for five or more seats. symplr, Ntracts, Contract Logix, IntelAgree, CobbleStone, Contracts 365, skyCLM, Genesis and Ecteon quote. Contract Logix states that its price depends on the mix of Full, Read Only and Submitter users.

Which tools document Stark Law and Anti-Kickback support?

symplr Contract documents conflict-of-interest tracking, gift monitoring, provider time tracking and exclusion notifications against Stark and Anti-Kickback requirements. Contract Logix documents physician compensation with fair market value thresholds and Stark and Anti-Kickback documentation. CobbleStone lists Stark Law support on its healthcare page. Buyers should ask each vendor to show a physician agreement moving through the relevant controls.

Which vendors focus on business associate agreements?

IntelAgree tracks which vendors handling PHI have a current BAA and redlines BAA-bound supplier paper. Signeasy provides BAA templates and renewal reminders. Contract Logix alerts on lapsing BAAs and offers BAA templates in its Healthcare Package. symplr and skyCLM include BAA templates. Any of these will hold BAAs; the difference is whether BAA status is reported across all vendors.

Do these tools integrate with Epic or a hospital ERP?

Ntracts states that it integrates with major EHR platforms including Epic and with ERP systems. symplr documents native integration with Workday, Oracle and Infor. CobbleStone lists EHR, ERP and CRM connectivity. Contracts 365 integrates with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Salesforce. Genesis loads GPO feeds and validates invoices against contract pricing.

Should a hospital supply chain team buy a CLM or a contract compliance tool?

They solve different problems. A CLM such as symplr, Contract Logix or IntelAgree manages drafting, review, approval and renewal. Genesis applies negotiated GPO and local prices at the point of order and validates them at invoice, which addresses price variance after signature. Many supply chain teams need both, so buyers should check whether the CLM can feed contract pricing to the purchasing system.

How should this comparison be used?

Use the documented buyer fit, pricing notes, source links and trade-offs to build a shortlist, then confirm scope, integrations, HIPAA terms and data migration in a demo. Entries are not ranked. StatWharf compared vendors on their published product, healthcare and pricing pages on 11 October 2026 and did not test the products; customer results quoted on vendor sites have not been independently verified.
