ETL tools for Snowflake move data from databases, SaaS applications and event streams into Snowflake tables. The choice for a Snowflake buyer turns on three questions: how data is loaded (staged files, Snowpipe Streaming or a partner’s own writer), how the tool is billed alongside Snowflake credits, and whether transformation happens before the load or inside Snowflake afterwards.
This page is written for data engineers and analytics leads whose warehouse is already Snowflake. Vendors were selected separately from the general ETL tools comparison, which covers Fivetran, Airbyte, dbt, Matillion and other multi-warehouse products. Every vendor here documents Snowflake as a destination or platform, and most are listed in Snowflake Partner Connect or the Snowflake Marketplace. Information comes from each vendor’s own pricing and documentation pages, checked on 11 October 2026. Entries appear with dated source checks first; the order is not a ranking.

Vendor details and trade-offs
Snowflake Openflow is Snowflake's own data integration service, built on Apache NiFi and generally available. Snowflake describes it as connecting any source to any destination through hundreds of processors that handle structured and unstructured data, including text, images, audio, video and sensor data, in batch or streaming mode.
There are two deployment types. An Openflow Snowflake Deployment runs on Snowpark Container Services and is available in AWS, Azure and GCP commercial regions. A Bring Your Own Cloud deployment runs in the customer's own AWS VPC. New deployments are second generation, which adds SQL-first management of deployments, runtimes and connectors.
Snowflake publishes curated connectors as versioned NiFi flow definitions. The documented list includes CDC replication from MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB, real-time ingestion from Kafka and Kinesis Data Streams, replication from Google BigQuery, and application connectors for HubSpot, Jira Cloud, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads and Microsoft Dataverse. Box and Google Drive connectors prepare documents for Snowflake Cortex AI assistants.
Billing has several parts. Openflow compute is charged in Snowflake credits per vCPU of active runtime. Loading through Snowpipe or Snowpipe Streaming is billed by volume under those services, and Snowflake notes that database CDC connectors also need a standard warehouse for the snapshot and incremental merges.
Potential strengths
- Openflow compute shows up in Snowflake's own METERING_HISTORY views, so pipeline and warehouse spend can be tracked in one place
- Documented connectors cover database CDC (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB), streams (Kafka, Kinesis), SaaS sources and unstructured content from Box and Google Drive
Trade-offs
- No flat price; cost depends on vCPU runtime, ingestion volume, warehouse use and, for BYOC, cloud infrastructure
- Snowflake states Openflow is not automatically available in trial accounts and must be enabled through the account team

Hevo Data is a managed pipeline product that appears in Snowflake Partner Connect as "Hevo Data CDC for ETL". Its Snowflake destination guide describes two ways to connect: through Partner Connect, which provisions the link from inside Snowflake, or with Snowflake credentials. Because Snowflake is deprecating password authentication and enforcing multi-factor authentication, Hevo recommends key-pair authentication for new destinations.
The documented load path stages data in Hevo's S3 bucket before writing it to the Snowflake warehouse. Hevo supports connecting through a cloud provider private link or over the public network, and the guide covers destination limitations and handling of source data types.
Pricing is based on events, defined on the pricing page as each record inserted, updated or deleted in the destination. The Free plan covers 1 million events a month, limited connectors, up to five users and one-hour scheduling. Starter costs $299 a month, or $239 billed annually, at 5 million events and adds more than 150 connectors, dbt integration and SSH/SSL. Professional costs $849 a month, or $679 annually, at 20 million events with unlimited users and Hevo's pipeline APIs. Business Critical is quoted and adds streaming pipelines, RBAC, SSO, multiple workspaces and VPC peering.
Potential strengths
- Published monthly and annual prices for Starter and Professional, with a free plan and a 14-day trial
- Snowflake documentation covers Partner Connect setup, key-pair authentication and private link connectivity
Trade-offs
- Data is staged in Hevo's own S3 bucket before loading into Snowflake, which some security reviews will need to approve
- Role-based access control, single sign-on and VPC peering are limited to the custom-priced Business Critical plan

Estuary is a data movement platform built for change data capture and streaming, with more than 200 managed connectors. The pricing page states that millisecond-latency and batch pipelines carry no price difference, and the platform stores captured data in the customer's own cloud storage so a source is extracted once and can feed several destinations.
The Snowflake materialization connector writes Estuary collections to Snowflake tables with either standard or delta updates. For standard updates, the connector uploads changes to a Snowflake table stage and then applies them transactionally. Snowpipe Streaming is available for bindings that use delta updates. The documentation includes a setup script that creates a role, a schema, a service user and an extra-small warehouse with a 60-second auto-suspend.
A bill has two parts. Data usage is $0.50 per GB moved. Connector instances, meaning each source capture or destination materialization, cost $100 a month each for the first six and $50 a month after that. The Developer tier is free indefinitely up to 10 GB a month and two connector instances, and new users get a 30-day trial of the Cloud plan. Enterprise adds volume discounts, SSO, SOC 2 and HIPAA reports, PrivateLink and private or BYOC deployment on annual contracts.
Potential strengths
- Published rate of $0.50 per GB with a free tier of 10 GB a month that does not expire
- Snowflake connector documents both standard and delta updates, with Snowpipe Streaming available for delta bindings
Trade-offs
- Connector instance fees of $100 a month each for the first six can outweigh data charges on low-volume pipelines
- SSO, SOC 2 and HIPAA reports and private networking options sit in the Enterprise tier

Coalesce covers the transform step of an ELT pipeline rather than extraction. Data teams build transformations from reusable node types and templates, and Coalesce compiles them to SQL that runs on the data platform. The product page describes three components on one metadata layer: Transform, Catalog and Quality, with versioned changes, built-in testing, live lineage and impact analysis before deployment.
Snowflake is the platform Coalesce documents most deeply. Its data platforms page states that Snowflake is integrated natively and that a free trial starts from the Snowflake Marketplace listing. Coalesce also appears in Snowflake Partner Connect. Connection options for Snowflake include username and password, key pair and Snowflake OAuth, and the `coa` command-line tool from version 7.33 supports Snowflake as its only platform. Databricks, BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric are also supported for Transform.
For a Snowflake buyer, Coalesce sits after a loader such as any other tool on this page. It suits teams that want standardised patterns, for example dimension and fact templates applied consistently across a large project, with documentation produced from the pipeline itself. Pricing is quote-based. The pricing page asks buyers to complete a form and states that licensing is customised to development needs.
Potential strengths
- Coalesce documentation describes Snowflake as natively integrated, with a trial started from the Snowflake Marketplace
- Live lineage and impact analysis are generated from the pipeline definitions rather than documented by hand
Trade-offs
- Coalesce does not extract data from sources, so a separate loader is still needed
- No published price, and the vendor lists Google Chrome as the only supported browser

Striim is a streaming data integration platform, and it publishes a dedicated "Striim for Snowflake" product page describing itself as a Snowflake Premier Technology Partner. It also appears in Snowflake Partner Connect. The core use case is continuous replication from operational databases into Snowflake, and the Snowflake page uses Oracle to Snowflake as its worked example.
The product differs from load-first tools in where transformation happens. Striim processes data in flight with SQL, performing denormalisation, filtering, enrichment and masking before delivery. Striim argues that filtering in transit reduces the data volume landing in Snowflake and avoids a separate staging layer. On setup, the product runs an automatic initial load and then switches to change data capture, with automated error handling, and the page states that no Kafka cluster is required.
Three editions are listed. Striim Developer is free for learning and small-scale use, with up to 25 million events a month and trial access to premium and preview connectors. Striim Cloud is a fully managed, horizontally scalable service with dedicated compute, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and PCI DSS compliance, customer-managed keys and private networking, billed on data moved. Striim Platform is self-hosted with clustered high-availability deployments. Both paid editions are priced on request.
Potential strengths
- Striim's Snowflake page documents automatic initial load followed by CDC, without a Kafka layer
- Striim Cloud lists SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and PCI DSS compliance and customer-managed encryption keys
Trade-offs
- Only the Developer edition has a published price; production plans require a sales conversation
- In-flight SQL processing adds a layer to maintain compared with load-only tools

- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Quote-based; Cloud billed on data moved

Etleap is a managed ETL service for enterprise data teams. Its homepage groups the product into three starting points: ingestion from databases, applications and files; operation of Apache Iceberg tables with built-in maintenance; and transformation, either in flight or as models built with dbt Core.
Snowflake support is documented in several places. Etleap appears in Snowflake Partner Connect. Its documentation states that Snowflake can be used as a destination warehouse, as a pipeline source, and as the engine for Etleap models and materialised views. In June 2025, at Snowflake Summit, Etleap announced a "15-second ingestion and modeling pipeline" on Snowflake, combining streaming ingestion, Iceberg-backed storage and dbt Core modelling to deliver analytics-ready data in as little as 15 seconds.
Etleap's pricing model is the clearest distinction. The homepage states that pricing is tied to the number of pipelines rather than data throughput, so costs stay fixed as volumes grow and add only when new pipelines are created. The vendor's own site publishes no figures. Its AWS Marketplace listing shows a 12-month contract with a $96,000 platform fee, a $36,000 additional data source bundle and a 30-day free trial. That listing describes Etleap's Redshift and S3 product, so a Snowflake buyer should treat it as an indication of contract size rather than a Snowflake quote.
Potential strengths
- Pipeline-based pricing keeps cost steady as data volumes grow, according to Etleap
- Combines ingestion, Iceberg table operations and dbt Core modelling in one managed service
Trade-offs
- The only published figure is an AWS Marketplace contract starting at $96,000 a year, which places it at the top of this page
- The marketplace listing is written for Amazon Redshift, so Snowflake-specific pricing must be confirmed with the vendor

Streamkap is a streaming CDC platform that prices on data volume rather than connectors or rows. All source and destination connectors are included on every plan, along with schema evolution, observability, a REST API, Terraform provider, CLI and an MCP server.
Its Snowflake documentation provides a setup script that creates a dedicated user, role, database, schema and network policy, plus a warehouse with a one-minute auto-suspend that Streamkap uses for automatic QA, upsert mode and optional views. The script grants privileges to create tables, stages and pipes, and optional grants allow Streamkap to create dynamic tables and tasks.
The Starter plan lists Snowflake Marketplace billing, which lets a Snowflake customer pay for Streamkap through its Snowflake account. Starter costs $250 a month with 1 GB of monthly data, always-on pipelines, Streaming Agents in SQL, Python or TypeScript, 5 GB of free backfill and a cap of 100 topics or tables. Scale costs $2,100 a month, or $1,750 billed annually, with 150 GB included, 1 TB of free backfill, BYOC availability, PrivateLink, SSO, SOC 2 Type 2 and a 99.9% SLA. Additional data on both plans costs $1.50 per GB. Enterprise adds HIPAA, PCI DSS, multi-AZ replication and a 99.99% SLA at a custom price.
Potential strengths
- Published prices for every tier except Enterprise, priced on data volume rather than connectors or rows
- Snowflake setup creates a dedicated warehouse with one-minute auto-suspend for upserts and automatic QA
Trade-offs
- The Starter plan's 1 GB base is small for production replication, and extra data costs $1.50 per GB
- SSO, PrivateLink and SOC 2 Type 2 start on the $1,750-plus Scale plan

Artie is a database replication product focused on CDC from production databases into warehouses. Its pricing page lists sub-minute latency with exactly-once delivery, and sources on the Free and Growth plans include PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, DocumentDB, PlanetScale, Supabase and Amazon Keyspaces. Snowflake is listed as a destination on every plan.
The Snowflake destination guide covers a service account script, key-pair authentication and two Snowflake-specific features. Turbo mode checks each pipeline every 10 minutes. When ingestion latency exceeds 30 minutes and pending rows exceed 5 million, the default thresholds, Artie switches the pipeline to a larger configured warehouse and notifies the team. It switches back once both metrics stay below threshold for three consecutive checks. Eco mode sets peak hours and time zone, with different flush rules off-peak, for teams that need faster syncs only during business hours. Snowpipe Streaming is an option that requires a CREATE PIPE grant.
The Free plan covers 1 million billable rows a month and two active pipelines. Growth starts at $500 a month billed annually, or $600 month-to-month, and is billed by volume with unlimited pipelines, proactive monitoring, SSO, RBAC and HIPAA support under a BAA. PrivateLink costs $500 a month per connection on Growth. Enterprise adds Oracle and SQL Server archive-log replication, BYOC and on-premises deployment, and 24/7 support.
Potential strengths
- Backfills are free and excluded from billable rows on every plan
- Turbo mode and eco mode give documented controls over Snowflake warehouse cost and latency
Trade-offs
- Oracle and SQL Server archive-log replication and BYOC deployment are Enterprise-only
- Sources are limited to databases and data stores; SaaS applications are not covered
- Product reference
- Product documentation
- Pricing source
- Billing terms: Monthly, or annually at 17% off

Skyvia is a no-code cloud data platform whose Snowflake connector page lists ETL and data sync, ELT data loading, workflow automation, a SQL query builder and REST API access as integration scenarios. Snowflake data can be synchronised with other sources one way or bidirectionally.
Three Skyvia tools apply to Snowflake pipelines. Import handles bulk loading of historical data and incremental sync of new and updated records in either direction, with advanced mapping. Data Flow joins several sources through lookups, applies multistage transformations and loads multiple destinations in one run. Control Flow orchestrates integrations in sequence or in parallel with error handling. Because Skyvia also writes to applications, the same product covers reverse ETL from Snowflake to tools such as a CRM.
Data Integration plans are priced by records per month and scheduling frequency. Free covers 10,000 records a month, daily scheduling and two scheduled integrations that expire after 30 days. Basic costs $99 a month or $79 billed annually, with five scheduled integrations and daily runs. Standard costs $199 or $159 annually, with hourly runs and 50 integrations. Professional costs $499 or $399 annually, with per-minute runs and unlimited integrations. Enterprise adds a dedicated virtual machine and unlimited record volume on a custom annual package.
Potential strengths
- The lowest published paid entry point on this page at $79 a month billed annually
- Unlimited users and source or target connections on every plan
Trade-offs
- Scheduling is once a day on Free and Basic, and per-minute runs need the $399-plus Professional plan
- Skyvia is not listed in Snowflake Partner Connect, and its connector page describes Snowflake generically

Frequently asked questions
What is an ETL tool for Snowflake?
It is a product that extracts data from databases, applications or event streams and loads it into Snowflake tables, sometimes transforming it on the way. Most tools on this page load first and leave modelling to SQL run on Snowflake compute. Striim transforms in flight, and Coalesce handles only the transform step after data has landed.
Does Snowflake have its own ETL tool?
Yes. Snowflake Openflow is Snowflake's own integration service, built on Apache NiFi and generally available. It runs inside Snowpark Container Services or in the customer's AWS VPC, and its compute is billed in Snowflake credits per vCPU of active runtime. Snowflake states it is not automatically available in trial accounts.
Which tools on this page appear in Snowflake Partner Connect?
Snowflake's Partner Connect documentation lists Coalesce, Etleap, Hevo Data and Striim among the partners on this page. Snowflake states that Partner Connect is being migrated to the Snowflake Marketplace, where partner trials now start from listings. Coalesce directs new users to its Snowflake Marketplace listing, and Streamkap offers Snowflake Marketplace billing.
How much do ETL tools for Snowflake cost?
Published paid entry points range from $79 a month for Skyvia Basic billed annually to an AWS Marketplace contract of $96,000 a year for Etleap. Hevo Data Starter costs $239 a month annually, Streamkap Starter $250 a month, Artie Growth $500 a month annually, and Estuary $0.50 per GB plus connector fees. Coalesce, Striim's paid editions and Openflow publish no flat plan price.
What is Snowpipe Streaming and which tools use it?
Snowpipe Streaming is Snowflake's service for loading rows continuously rather than in files, billed by volume on the Snowflake invoice. Estuary's Snowflake connector offers it for delta-update bindings, Artie documents it as an option requiring a CREATE PIPE grant, and Snowflake lists it as an ingestion cost for Openflow.
Does the Snowflake warehouse cost extra on top of the ETL tool?
Yes. Every tool here writes into a Snowflake account the buyer pays for. Estuary, Streamkap and Artie setup scripts create a dedicated warehouse, Snowflake states that Openflow database CDC connectors require a standard warehouse, and Snowpipe ingestion is billed separately. Artie's turbo and eco modes exist specifically to control that warehouse spend.
Which tools replicate databases into Snowflake in real time?
Estuary, Striim, Streamkap and Artie are built around change data capture. Estuary prices millisecond latency and batch the same, Artie lists sub-minute latency, Streamkap runs always-on pipelines from its Starter plan, and Striim runs an initial load followed by continuous CDC. Openflow also documents CDC connectors for MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
How was this list compiled?
Vendors were chosen for documented Snowflake fit: a Snowflake destination guide, a Partner Connect or Marketplace presence, or Snowflake-specific features. None of the vendors on the general ETL tools comparison appears here. Each vendor's pricing page and Snowflake documentation were read on 11 October 2026. No product was tested hands-on, and no entry is vendor-confirmed.
