These comparisons draw on public product information, not hands-on testing of every tool. Source records identify available references and checks; missing evidence is marked. Buyer fit is an editorial assessment, not a measured performance score. How to use this research.
Cash flow management software gives a business a current view of its cash and a forecast of where that cash is heading, so that payroll, supplier payments, borrowing and investment decisions rest on data rather than a hand-built spreadsheet. The market splits between forecasting tools that read accounting data for small and mid-sized companies, bank-connected cash platforms for growing finance teams, and treasury management systems for multi-entity groups.
The comparison below covers nine products. Features and pricing come from each vendor’s product, pricing and documentation pages, checked in October 2026. Four publish price figures and five quote on request. The main differences are where the cash data comes from, how far ahead the forecast runs, how entities and banks are priced and whether payments and treasury functions are included.
Related pages cover budgeting and forecasting software, accounts receivable automation software and accounts payable automation software.
Vendor details and trade-offs
Float is a cash flow forecasting application from The Float Yard Ltd, based in Edinburgh. It describes itself as the cash decision layer between accounting and reporting, and states that more than 8,000 finance teams use it.
Float connects to Xero or QuickBooks Online and builds a rolling forecast from reconciled bank balances, invoices, bills and bank transactions. It syncs every 24 hours and can be refreshed on demand. It does not connect to banks directly, so it covers any bank the accounting platform already reads. The same forecast can be viewed weekly, by 13 weeks or by month, and the monthly view extends up to three years on the higher plans.
Scenario planning lets a team switch income and cost lines on or off and price new hires before committing. AR and AP views map each invoice and bill to its expected date, and Intelligent Suggestions flags recurring costs found in transaction history. Comments, mentions and three permission roles (Admin, Editor and Viewer) support collaboration, and presentation mode and exports cover reporting.
Pricing depends on revenue taken from the most recent full financial year. Small Business includes 12-month forecasts and optional guided onboarding for £99. Growth extends forecasts to 36 months and includes onboarding. Scale adds multi-entity consolidation and priority support with a named contact.
Potential strengths

Agicap positions itself as a cash flow management platform for SMBs and mid-market companies. Its website states that it serves more than 8,000 clients in 12 countries, and its UK office is in London.
The platform connects banking and accounting flows. Agicap states compatibility with more than 300 UK, Irish and international banks and more than 150 accounting and financial software packages, using Open Banking APIs and other integrations. Cash positions are grouped across accounts, currencies and entities, and the company describes short-term forecasts projected up to 13 weeks ahead from actual data, alongside category-based and longer-term cash plans with scenarios.
Beyond forecasting, Agicap sells modules for payments and transfers, bank reconciliation with automatic journal posting, accounts payable automation with OCR invoice capture and approval workflows, and accounts receivable automation with follow-ups and invoice financing options. Kyriba is a liquidity performance platform for treasury and finance teams, with products for treasury, risk management, payments, connectivity and working capital. It lists enterprise, midsize, public sector and bank customers.
For cash management, Kyriba consolidates prior-day and intraday bank data across accounts, banks, entities and currencies, using cash position worksheets and dynamic reporting. Bank reporting, transaction matching, reconciliation and general ledger posting can be automated, and bank account management covers signatories, documentation and fee analysis.
Kyriba's cash forecasting combines connected data with AI predictions, benchmarking and variance analysis. Teams can model delayed receivables, shifting payment timing and market volatility, and compare forecasts with actuals pulled from bank statements and ERP ledgers. Kyriba publishes a success story titled as Varsity Brands achieving more than 90% forecasting accuracy; that is a single-customer vendor claim.

Trovata is a cash and liquidity management platform built on normalised bank data. The Base Package on the pricing page lists balances, transactions, transaction tags, analysis, reports, forecasts, cash positioning, reconciliation, payments, entity management, Trovata AI, workbooks, statements, investments and a developer portal. It includes integrations with the NetSuite SuiteApp and FloQast. Trovata states that forecasts are built from historical data, ERP inputs and projected activity, across short and long horizons.
Trovata TMS adds capital markets, account management and fee analysis, intercompany and in-house banking, global payments automation, a full treasury sub-ledger and interest rate and FX hedging. The homepage reports platform figures of 56,000 bank accounts and more than 295 million daily bank transactions, and it announces Trovata AI 2.0 for governed automation of repeatable treasury work.

Nomentia is a Finnish treasury software company whose Smart Treasury Suite has five modules: Connect for bank and system connectivity, Pay for payments, View for cash visibility and forecasting, Manage for financing, investments and risk, and Optimise for cash pooling and in-house banking. Nomentia lists offices in Finland, Sweden, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom, and states more than 10,000 bank connections.
Cash Flow Forecasting sits in the View module. It combines manual subsidiary inputs, entered through controlled templates with validation and deadlines, with ERP, bank and treasury instrument cash flows across daily, weekly and monthly periods. Rolling forecasts can be built from AR, AP and bank data, and amounts or timing can be adjusted without changing the source data.
The AI reference forecast learns from the customer's own historical bank transactions, ERP actuals and past forecasts. It runs beside the subsidiary forecasts as a benchmark rather than replacing them, and reports show the variances. Users choose the transactions, model, horizon and scope per use case, and an Auto-select option evaluates and applies a model. Forecasts can be reported in transaction, entity or group currency and aggregated by country, region or division.
Nomentia's website refers to 1,400+ customer case studies and highlights European security certifications.
Potential strengths
- Combines subsidiary uploads, ERP, bank and treasury instrument cash flows in one forecast
- States 10,000+ bank connections and offices in seven European countries
Trade-offs
- No public pricing
- Nomentia recommends three years of consistent history for the most accurate AI forecasts

Ripple Treasury is the treasury management platform whose cash forecasting product is described as powered by GTreasury. It offers modules for liquidity management, cash forecasting, intercompany netting, payments and in-house banking, risk management, reconciliation and regulatory reporting, connected through its ClearConnect bank and ERP connectivity suite.
The cash forecasting product is aimed at mid-market companies. It forecasts by business unit rather than by bank account, across entities and currencies, and tracks intercompany movements between units. Bank data is captured daily, categorised automatically and posted to the forecast model, and users can drill from a summary to transaction-level detail. The interface is described as Excel-like, with customisable cash flow categories, subtotals and reporting calendar, and budgets can be translated into detailed cash flow.
GSmart Forecast Insights compares forecasts with actuals automatically, and a generative AI Insight Agent highlights patterns and outliers. The homepage states that 44% of customers use Forecast Insights. Ripple Treasury claims a 30%+ increase in forecast accuracy; that figure is a vendor marketing claim.
The homepage lists 300+ pre-built bank connectors, 13,000 connected banks, a seven-day target to connect any API-enabled bank and 99.9% uptime. The platform also supports digital asset accounts alongside traditional bank accounts.
Potential strengths
- States go-live in 90 days for liquidity management, cash forecasting and netting
- Modules can be adopted one at a time on shared connectivity and audit trail
Trade-offs
- No public pricing
- Accuracy and time-saving figures on the forecasting page are vendor claims from marketing and a single case study

Dryrun is a cash flow forecasting and scenario modelling product from LEVR Media Inc. in Edmonton, Canada. It is aimed at CFOs, controllers and the client advisers or CPAs who forecast for them, and it presents itself as a replacement for spreadsheet models.
Dryrun syncs with Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, Intuit Enterprise Suite, QuickBooks Online and Xero, and its Universal Import brings in further spreadsheet and ERP files. Forecasts show expected receipts, payments and balances in daily, weekly and monthly views, so a team can move from immediate cash needs to longer planning without rebuilding the model.
Cash management features let users adjust expected collection and payment dates to find shortfalls early. Customisation covers timing, amounts and assumptions, including projects, deposits, payroll, debt and planned purchases that accounting records do not yet capture. Scenario modelling compares the working forecast with alternative plans for hiring, equipment, growth or delayed collections.
Multi-entity forecasting consolidates and rolls up entities so a healthy total does not hide a local shortfall. Reporting includes budget versus actuals and live currency conversion. The features page also lists read-only and read-write controls, user management and CRM integration.
Potential strengths
- Manual assumptions add projects, deposits and payroll before invoices or bills exist
- Multi-entity consolidation shows each entity's need beside the combined outlook
Trade-offs
- No published pricing
- No direct bank connectivity is listed; data comes from accounting systems and Universal Import
- Product reference
- Product documentation
- Billing terms: Not recorded
- Source review: checked Oct 26, 2026

The product connects to eight platforms: QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage Intacct, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Odoo and direct bank feeds through Plaid. It also lists Excel. Data syncs automatically, so the forecast reflects the latest actuals.
Features fall into three groups. Cash flow management covers the forecast itself, scenarios for hiring, spending and growth, and projections that users add or generate automatically from their data. Reporting covers board-ready cash flow statements, consolidation of several businesses and daily to quarterly breakdowns up to three years out. Insights include customer rankings by collection and payment punctuality, a VAT and GST forecast and ongoing planned-versus-actual analysis. Tracking by class or department is also listed.
Cash Flow Frog supports the Model Context Protocol, so an AI assistant can query the forecast, add projections and run what-if scenarios in conversation. The company states ISO 27001 certification, GDPR compliance, encryption and two-factor authentication, and runs a programme for accountants and bookkeepers. A 14-day trial needs no card.

Pulse is a web-based cash flow monitoring and forecasting application designed for small businesses. Its customers, according to the homepage, include creative and technology agencies, service providers, restaurants, manufacturers, retail shops, contractors and freelancers.
The product replaces a cash flow spreadsheet. Users enter recurring income and expenses, which scale automatically, and view cash flow by year, month, week or individual day. Money in and money out are tracked with categories and reports, and scenarios are tested by toggling entries and accounts on or off to see the effect on future cash. Customer and project reports show how profitable each is expected to be.
Basics covers cash flow management in any currency with categories, reports and scenario toggles. The Small Business Plan, which Pulse marks as recommended, adds cash flow across multiple financial accounts, invitations for investors, bookkeepers or managers, a QuickBooks Online integration and tracking of actuals beside projections. Premium adds unlimited financial accounts, currency conversion for localised reporting and attachment of invoices or contracts to entries.
Pulse suits owners who manage cash themselves rather than finance teams. It does not list bank feeds, multi-entity consolidation or ERP integrations.
Potential strengths
- Lowest published entry price on this page at $29 a month
- Works in any currency, with currency conversion on Premium
Trade-offs
- QuickBooks Online is the only accounting integration listed, and it starts on the $59 plan

Frequently asked questions
What is cash flow management software?
Cash flow management software shows how much cash a business holds now and forecasts how much it will hold in future periods. It pulls balances and transactions from banks or accounting systems, maps expected receipts and payments, and lets users test scenarios such as a new hire or a delayed customer payment. Larger platforms add payments, reconciliation, cash pooling and multi-entity consolidation.
How much does cash flow management software cost?
As of October 2026, published prices on this page start at $29 a month for Pulse Basics. Cash Flow Frog lists $55 a month for its first revenue tier, Float Small Business is $105 a month billed annually and Float Growth $215. Trovata's Base Package is $24,000 a year. Agicap, Kyriba, Nomentia, Ripple Treasury and Dryrun quote on request, and Agicap states a 12-month minimum term.
What is the difference between cash flow management software and FP&A software?
Cash flow management software focuses on cash timing: balances, receipts, payments and short-term forecasts such as 13-week views. FP&A software focuses on budgets, profit and loss planning and driver-based models over longer periods. Agicap describes itself as a complement to FP&A tools. Some products overlap, so buyers should check which statements and horizons each tool covers.
Does cash flow management software connect directly to banks?
Some products do and some do not. Agicap, Trovata, Kyriba, Nomentia and Ripple Treasury connect to banks directly. Float reads bank transactions through Xero or QuickBooks Online and does not connect to banks itself. Cash Flow Frog adds bank feeds through Plaid. Pulse and Dryrun list accounting or ERP connections rather than bank feeds.
What is a 13-week cash flow forecast?
A 13-week cash flow forecast projects weekly cash receipts, payments and balances for roughly one quarter ahead. Finance teams use it to manage payroll, supplier payments and lender covenants. Float, Agicap and Kyriba document 13-week or short-term rolling forecasts, while Float Growth and Cash Flow Frog also forecast monthly up to 36 months.
Which cash flow tools work with QuickBooks or Xero?
Float integrates with Xero and QuickBooks Online. Cash Flow Frog connects to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Xero along with Sage Intacct, Zoho Books, FreshBooks and Odoo. Dryrun syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero as well as Sage Intacct, Business Central and NetSuite. Pulse integrates with QuickBooks Online on its Small Business and Premium plans.
When does a company need a treasury management system instead?
A treasury management system such as Kyriba, Nomentia or Ripple Treasury is usually considered when a group runs many entities, banks and currencies and needs payments, cash pooling, in-house banking or FX risk management alongside forecasting. Smaller companies with one or a few entities on Xero or QuickBooks are the documented audience for Float, Cash Flow Frog and Pulse.
How were these cash flow management products selected and checked?
The nine products are real vendors with live product pages that describe cash flow forecasting or cash management. Pricing, plan contents and features come from each vendor's own pricing, product and documentation pages, checked on 26 October 2026. StatWharf did not test the products hands-on, and no vendor confirmed its entry. Order on the page does not indicate quality or preference.
