Best Venue Management Software (2026): Top 8 Compared

Updated October 2026By StatWharf Editorial8 vendorsMethodology

The eight products below all handle the work of a venue that sells event space: inquiry capture, space availability, proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), invoicing and payments. They fall into three groups. Tripleseat, Perfect Venue and Planning Pod are cloud platforms aimed mainly at restaurants, wedding and event venues, breweries and similar businesses that sell private events. Event Temple, iVvy and VenueSuite focus on hotels and function centres that sell meeting and event space, often alongside guest room blocks. Momentus and EventPro serve large or complex facilities such as convention centres, arenas, performing arts centres, universities and corporate campuses, with deeper operations, work-order and accounting modules. Four vendors publish a starting price; the other four quote.

These comparisons draw on public product information, not hands-on testing of every tool. Source records identify available references and checks; missing evidence is marked. Buyer fit is an editorial assessment, not a measured performance score. How to use this research.

Venue management software runs the sales and delivery of events in a physical space. This page covers venues that sell their space to outside clients: restaurants and bars with private dining, wedding and event venues, hotels selling meeting rooms and banquets, and convention centres, arenas and performing arts centres. For these buyers the software captures inquiries, checks space availability, produces proposals and contracts, generates banquet event orders (BEOs), and collects deposits and final invoices. Desk and meeting-room booking for an organisation’s own employees is a different purchase and is not covered here.

The comparison below covers eight products. Features and pricing come from each vendor’s own product and pricing pages, checked on 8 October 2026. Four entries publish a starting price: Tripleseat, Perfect Venue, Event Temple and VenueSuite. Momentus, iVvy, Planning Pod and EventPro provide prices only through a quote or demo, so their profiles record the pricing terms their pages state. VenueSuite prices are in euros. Priava, a venue product often listed in this category, is not included as a separate entry because priava.com now redirects to Momentus.

Tripleseat

Consider forRestaurants, hotels, caterers, wedding venues and event spaces that sell private and group events and want one platform for leads, BEOs and payments, as Tripleseat's home and packages pages describe
Pricing notesStarts at $375 per venue per month. The packages page states that all plans include unlimited users, integrations and full feature access with no paywalled tiers. Add-ons such as Floor Plans, Direct Book, Venue Marketplace, Insights and Tickets attach to the platform and are priced individually during the sales conversation (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateFour packages built around how a venue sells: the core platform, self-serve Direct Book, 2D and 3D Floor Plans, and a Hotels package with PMS integration, room blocks and multi-day events

Tripleseat has sold event management software for hospitality businesses since 2008. Its home page says more than 20,000 venues use the platform, and it names restaurants, hotels, catering companies, event and banquet venues, wedding venues, breweries and nightlife venues as target industries. Named customers include Hawksmoor, Level99, Starr and Tao Group.

The core platform follows an event from inquiry to payment. Inquiries from the venue's channels are captured and routed automatically, proposals and contracts are built from the event record, and BEOs, floor plans, payments and logistics stay attached to the booking. Tripleseat describes its aim as replacing BEOs kept in shared drives and payments chased by phone with one shared system. Portfolio reporting covers groups that run several venues.

The packages page lists four starting configurations. The standard Tripleseat package covers capture, booking, planning, payment and reporting. Tripleseat plus Direct Book adds self-serve online booking so guests can confirm without a phone call, which the vendor positions for restaurants and caterers. Tripleseat plus Floor Plans adds 2D and 3D venue diagramming for wedding venues and event spaces that sell on layout. Tripleseat Hotels adds PMS integration, room blocks and multi-day events. Floor Plans can also be bought on its own.

Further add-ons cover a venue marketplace listing, an Insights reporting product and ticketing. Tripleseat explains its higher price by stating that every customer receives a dedicated onboarding specialist who builds out the account, rather than a login and a help centre.

Momentus

enterprisegomomentus.com ↗
Consider forLarge and multi-space venues such as convention centres, stadiums, arenas, performing arts centres, universities and corporate campuses that need sales, operations and venue accounting in one system, as the Momentus home and pricing pages describe
Pricing notesQuote-based. The pricing page asks buyers to share venue count, number of annual events and key workflows, then provides a package recommendation and quote after a call. Momentus Enterprise is offered in Core, Pro and Premier tiers, and Momentus Elite is sold separately for stadiums, arenas, performing arts centres and conference centres. Unlimited users are listed in the Enterprise Core tier (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateEnterprise tiers extend from leads, contracts and service orders to work-order management, general ledger exports, accounts payable, inventory and exhibitor management

Momentus Technologies sells venue and event management software for large facilities. The former Ungerboeck and Priava websites now redirect to gomomentus.com, so buyers who know either name land on the Momentus product. Named customers include SoFi Stadium, Google, Excel London, the Apollo Theater and Harvard.

The home page groups customers by venue type. Momentus states that more than 700 performing arts centres, theatres and cultural venues, over 550 stadiums and arenas, more than 175 higher education institutions and over 130 conference centres use the platform, and that more than 85% of the largest convention centres in the world run on it.

Two products cover these markets. Momentus Enterprise targets convention centres, corporate campuses and university venues. Momentus Elite targets stadiums, arenas, performing arts centres and conference centres.

The Enterprise pricing page lists three tiers. Core covers leads, contacts and accounts, calendars, event opportunities, proposals and contracts, functions, service orders, work-order management, change tracking, basic inventory, AR invoices, collections and payments, a payment portal, in-house payment processing, reports, an audit-ready GL export, back-office single sign-on and unlimited users. Pro adds sales goals, budgeting and general ledger features. Premier adds accounts payable, inventory and asset management, smart imports and the Ask Mo analytics tool. Optional bundles cover exhibitor management, with an exhibitor portal and show floor plans, and attendee registration. Connect APIs are an optional add-on.

Potential strengths

  • Published tier-by-tier feature lists for the Enterprise product
  • Exhibitor management and registration bundles for convention and exhibition venues

Trade-offs

  • No published price
  • Accounts payable and inventory management sit in the top Premier tier

iVvy

mid-marketivvy.com ↗
Consider forHotels, hospitality groups, function and event centres and stadiums that want enquiry handling, proposals, BEOs and payments in one sales and catering platform, as iVvy's home and venue software pages describe
Pricing notesQuote-based. The FAQ states that pricing depends on venue size, number of users and features, that both monthly and annual plans are offered, and that special pricing is available for eligible startups and nonprofits. It also states that core features, support and updates are included with no hidden fees (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateAn Instant Proposal AI agent handles enquiry intake, qualification, follow-up and proposal drafting for staff review

iVvy is an Australian company, iVvy Pty Ltd, that sells venue and event management software in Asia-Pacific, the UK and Europe, and North America. Its customer pages name hotels and hotel chains, hospitality groups, event and function centres, and stadiums and sports clubs. Customers quoted on the home page include Australian Venue Co., Goodwood Estate and a Best Western property.

The sales and catering software manages enquiries, bookings, proposals and events from one record. Listed components include a CRM, a shared function diary, branded proposals, e-signature contracts, version-controlled BEOs that update in real time, virtual run sheets, automated invoicing and reporting on space utilisation and team performance. Availability of spaces and resources can be checked before a proposal is sent.

iVvyAI adds sales agents. The Instant Proposal agent takes in an enquiry, qualifies the lead, follows up and drafts the proposal, and staff review and personalise it before sending. iVvyPay handles invoicing and online payments, and iVvy states it is Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant. A separate event ticketing product provides registration pages, ticket types and attendee management.

iVvy states that support is available around the clock by phone, email and live chat with an average response time under 15 minutes. Integrations named on the venue software page include Opera, Xero and Salesforce, and iVvy says it connects with more than 50 other systems.

Potential strengths

  • Monthly as well as annual plans, according to the FAQ
  • Integrations with Opera, Xero and Salesforce

Trade-offs

  • No published price
  • Ticketing is a separate iVvy product

Perfect Venue

Consider forIndependent restaurants, bars, breweries and small event venues that want event sales, proposals, BEOs and payments without a large contract, as Perfect Venue's home and pricing pages describe
Pricing notesA free plan includes CRM, BEOs, proposals, payments and the events calendar, with higher card processing. Professional costs $199 and Premium $299 per location per month billed annually, or $239 and $339 billed monthly. Enterprise is quoted. All plans include unlimited users plus setup, migration and training, with no setup fees. Card payments cost 2.9% plus 30 cents, with an added 0.5% on Professional, 0.3% on Premium and 0% on Enterprise. ACH costs $5 per payment on Premium and Enterprise and is not offered on Professional (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluatePublished per-location prices with a free plan, a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee

Perfect Venue, based in San Francisco, sells event management software to small hospitality businesses. The company describes its aim as helping small businesses compete with larger chains for private events. Customers quoted on its site include Maui Brewing Co., Kogi BBQ, Gott's Roadside, the Great American Music Hall and Harborview Restaurant & Bar.

The platform covers the private-event sales cycle. A centralised booking calendar syncs with Google Calendar, proposals are built from menus and packages, and BEOs and other documents are generated automatically. A guest portal and Express Book let clients review and book online, and clients can add menu items as upsells. An AI reply feature drafts responses to inquiries and builds proposals.

Plan differences are spelled out on the pricing page. The core platform, guest portal, Express Book, events calendar and unlimited users appear across paid plans, and Professional adds more flexible payment options and multiple event policies. Premium adds sales-team features such as event owners, tasks and team messages, enhanced marketing and branding, and low-cost ACH payments. Enterprise adds custom documents, guest questionnaires and no added card processing fee.

The vendor offers a 14-day free trial without a credit card and a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. Comparison pages on its site position the product against Tripleseat, Planning Pod, Toast and HoneyBook.

Potential strengths

  • Full price list, card fees and ACH fees published
  • Unlimited users and onboarding included on every plan

Trade-offs

  • Paid plans add a percentage to card processing except on Enterprise
  • ACH payments are not available on the Professional plan

Event Temple

mid-marketeventtemple.com ↗
Consider forIndependent hotels and hotel groups that sell group rooms, meeting space and catered events and want one sales and catering system, as Event Temple's home and pricing pages describe
Pricing notesStarting as low as $249 per month, with a custom quote based on needs. The pricing FAQ states that all prices are based on annual payment, the minimum contract term is one year, chain and group pricing is available, additional fees may apply depending on setup, and data import fees vary. Payment is accepted by credit card, ACH or wire transfer, and a free trial is offered (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateRoom blocks, packages and events sit in one booking record, with pickup tracked against allotment

Event Temple sells hotel sales and catering software. Its home page says more than 1,400 hotels in over 45 countries use it, and names groups such as Strawberry, PEG Hospitality, Prestige Hotels & Resorts and Sunridge Hotel Group. A testimonial from Strawberry states that 174 of its hotels are live on the system.

The platform covers the group and event business of a hotel from first inquiry to final payment. Intake forms and inquiry parsing turn emails into structured leads in a hotel sales CRM and pipeline. Bookings hold room blocks, packages and events in one record, with pickup tracked against allotment so sales and the front office see the same figures. A group rooms control (GRC) view and event diary show live function space availability, allow space to be held and flag conflicts before double-bookings occur.

Proposals and contracts are generated from booking details so information is not retyped, and banquet event orders, invoicing and payments follow from the same record. A meeting space booking engine lets planners book smaller meetings online. Automated follow-ups keep deals moving, and pipeline reporting covers one hotel or many.

Event Temple is the most hotel-specific product on this page. Venues without guest rooms can use it, but its room block and GRC features are aimed at properties that sell rooms and space together. The pricing FAQ notes that additional fees depend on setup requirements and that a typical go-live takes one day to four weeks.

Potential strengths

  • Published starting price and contract terms
  • Go-live typically takes one day to four weeks, according to the FAQ

Trade-offs

  • Annual payment and a one-year minimum term
  • Setup and import fees are not itemised on the page

Planning Pod

smbplanningpod.com ↗
Consider forEvent and wedding venues, business and conference centres, golf and country clubs and similar organisations that want venue booking alongside event planning, registration and client portals, as Planning Pod's site describes
Pricing notesNo price is published on the vendor site. The former pricing page URL redirects to an event planning product page, and the site directs buyers to schedule a demo (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateVenue booking sits alongside planning tools such as floor plans, seating charts, registration, ticketing and surveys in one account

Planning Pod has sold event management software since 2014. The vendor states that more than 70,000 event and hospitality professionals have chosen the platform and that its tools have been used to plan more than 1.3 million events. Industry pages cover event and wedding venues, business and conference centres, performing arts and convention facilities, stadiums and arenas, golf and country clubs, wineries and breweries, restaurants, hotels, museums and municipalities.

The product is presented as a set of more than 40 tools that a customer configures. For venue sales, an event booking calendar tracks appointments, venue and space reservations and event bookings. An event CRM keeps contacts and communications with a central email inbox. Online forms and client portals collect information, and proposals, contracts with e-signatures, and invoicing and payments handle the commercial side.

Operational tools include banquet event orders, food and beverage tools, schedules and itineraries, checklists and task management, and to-scale floor plans with seating charts. Shareable event orders, timelines and text reminders keep staff and vendors informed on the day.

Planning Pod also includes tools that venue-only products usually omit: event websites, registration and ticketing, guest check-in, vision boards and post-event surveys. That breadth suits venues that also plan events for clients, or organisations such as clubs and universities that run their own programmes. The site publishes comparison pages against Tripleseat, Perfect Venue, Event Temple and HoneyBook.

Potential strengths

  • Broad toolset that covers both venue sales and event planning
  • Industry pages for venues, clubs, museums, municipalities and arenas

Trade-offs

  • No price published on the vendor site
  • Breadth of planning tools may exceed what a venue sales team needs

EventPro

specialisteventpro.net ↗
Consider forVenues and event organisations that need configurable venue booking, event and catering management with a choice of cloud or on-premise deployment, as EventPro's home and pricing pages describe
Pricing notesQuote-based. The pricing page states that price depends on the organisation's needs, including optional modules, number of users and rooms, and training. Account consultants provide a complimentary needs assessment. Ongoing support and upgrades are sold through an annual Upgrade Protection Plan (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateOne of the few products on this page offered on-premise as well as cloud-hosted

EventPro Software states that it has developed event management software for more than 40 years. The product combines venue booking management, event management and catering and beverage management in one system, and the vendor says its clients include thousands of organisations across a range of industries.

Venue booking covers rooms and resources across a facility. EPConnect Bookings is a web module connected to the EventPro database that lets users search rooms, book events and add event resources online. EPConnect Attendee Online lets attendees register, choose options and pay. Catering management handles menus and beverage service whether catering is the whole business or one part of an event.

EventPro is available as a cloud-hosted service or as an on-premise installation hosted by the customer, and the site publishes technical requirements and installation guides. Optional modules and suites extend the standard features.

Services are a large part of the offer. EventPro sells training packages, data setup and configuration, user interface customisation, custom report building and custom software development for requirements the standard product does not cover. Its in-house support team backs the product, and the Upgrade Protection Plan is the annual contract for support and software upgrades. These options suit organisations with specific workflows or hosting rules, while smaller venues may prefer the fixed packages of cloud-only vendors.

Potential strengths

  • On-premise option for organisations that must host data internally
  • Custom reports, interface customisation and custom development available

Trade-offs

  • No published price
  • Price depends on module, user, room and training selections

VenueSuite

smbvenuesuite.com ↗
Consider forIndependent hotels and hotel groups that want a branded online booking journey and structured proposals for meeting and event sales, as VenueSuite's home and pricing pages describe
Pricing notesSingle Property costs EUR 250 per month and includes unlimited spaces, e-proposals, a planboard, booking engine, email templates, multi-day bookings, dynamic pricing, real-time availability, invoicing and payments, calendar connection, accounting integrations and PMS integrations. Multi Property for hotel groups is custom-priced from EUR 300 per month. The page does not state the billing cadence (checked Oct 2026)
Feature to evaluateBookers can check real-time availability and price their own meeting through a booking engine branded to the hotel

VenueSuite is a Netherlands-based provider of meeting and event sales software for hotels. Its site is offered in Dutch and English, and it features the Van der Valk hotel group as a customer.

The product concentrates on the sales side of meeting and event business. Enquiries from different channels are brought into one system, and each one follows a structured process so the team can see where it stands and what happens next. A planboard shows bookings across spaces. E-proposals and email templates speed up responses, and multi-day bookings are supported.

The booking engine is the main distinction. Bookers use a branded booking journey on the hotel's own website, see real-time availability, and receive pricing that can vary by season or demand through dynamic pricing. VenueSuite presents this as a way to respond faster and present a consistent experience from the first enquiry.

Invoicing and payments, a calendar connection, accounting integrations and PMS integrations are listed in the Single Property plan. The Multi Property plan targets hotel groups with shared templates and workflows, a consistent brand experience and visibility across properties, while letting each team work its own way.

VenueSuite does not describe BEO-heavy catering operations, work orders or ticketing on the pages checked. It fits hotels whose main need is converting meeting and event enquiries, rather than venues running complex banquet production.

Potential strengths

  • Published per-property price with unlimited spaces
  • Shared templates and workflows for hotel groups

Trade-offs

  • Prices are in euros and the billing cadence is not stated
  • Focused on hotel meeting and event sales rather than restaurant or arena operations

How to choose a vendor

Match the product to the venue type

Restaurant private dining, breweries and wedding venues sit closest to Tripleseat, Perfect Venue and Planning Pod. Hotels selling meeting space and room blocks sit closest to Event Temple, iVvy, VenueSuite and the Tripleseat Hotels package. Convention centres, arenas and performing arts centres with exhibitors, work orders and general-ledger needs sit closest to Momentus and EventPro.

Compare the billing unit and the fees around it

Tripleseat and Perfect Venue publish prices per venue or per location, Event Temple a starting monthly figure paid annually, and VenueSuite a per-property price in euros. Perfect Venue adds a plan-dependent percentage to card processing, and Event Temple notes setup and import fees. Ask every vendor for onboarding, migration and payment-processing costs in writing before comparing headline prices.

Check the BEO, floor plan and accounting handoffs

Most products generate BEOs, but floor plans, online self-booking and ticketing are often separate packages or add-ons. Tripleseat sells Floor Plans and Direct Book as add-ons, iVvy sells ticketing as a separate product, and Momentus moves accounts payable and inventory into its higher Enterprise tier. List which documents and integrations the operations and finance teams need on day one.

Frequently asked questions

What is venue management software?

Venue management software helps a venue sell and deliver events in its spaces. It captures inquiries, shows which rooms or areas are free, produces proposals and contracts, generates banquet event orders (BEOs) for the kitchen and operations staff, and handles invoices, deposits and payments. Larger platforms add work orders, inventory and accounting for complex facilities.

How much does venue management software cost?

Published starting prices on this page are $199 per location per month billed annually for Perfect Venue Professional, $249 per month paid annually for Event Temple, EUR 250 per month for VenueSuite Single Property and $375 per venue per month for Tripleseat. Perfect Venue also has a free plan. Momentus, iVvy, Planning Pod and EventPro provide prices through a quote.

What is a BEO and why does it matter in venue software?

A banquet event order is the document that tells kitchen, bar, setup and service staff what an event needs: timings, room layout, menu, headcount, dietary requirements and equipment. Generating the BEO from the booking record means changes made by the sales team reach operations without being retyped. Tripleseat, iVvy, Perfect Venue, Event Temple and Planning Pod list BEOs as features.

Which products suit restaurants and small private-event venues?

Tripleseat and Perfect Venue name restaurants, bars, breweries and wedding venues as core customers. Perfect Venue publishes lower per-location prices and a free plan, while Tripleseat starts at $375 per venue per month and includes a dedicated onboarding specialist. Planning Pod also covers restaurants, wineries and wedding venues alongside wider planning tools.

Which products suit hotels selling meeting space?

Event Temple, iVvy and VenueSuite are built mainly around hotel meeting and event sales. Event Temple manages room blocks, a group rooms control view and function space in one booking record. iVvy combines a function diary, BEOs and payments with AI proposal drafting. VenueSuite focuses on an online booking engine with real-time availability. Tripleseat also sells a Hotels package.

Which products suit convention centres, arenas and performing arts centres?

Momentus states that most of the largest convention centres and hundreds of stadiums, arenas and performing arts centres use its platform, with tiers adding work orders, general ledger, accounts payable and exhibitor management. EventPro offers configurable modules with cloud or on-premise hosting. iVvy also names stadiums among its customer groups.

How is venue management software different from desk booking software?

Desk booking software lets employees reserve desks and meeting rooms in their own office, usually with no charge to the person booking. Venue management software is for businesses that sell event space to outside clients, so it adds proposals, contracts, deposits, BEOs, catering and invoicing. StatWharf covers desk booking tools on a separate page.
