Best Revenue Management Software (2026): Top 10 Compared
Revenue management software, often called a revenue management system or RMS, forecasts hotel demand and recommends or automatically publishes room rates and stay restrictions. This page covers hotel and hospitality RMS products, not SaaS revenue recognition or subscription billing tools. The ten products split into two groups. IDeaS, Duetto, FLYR Hospitality, Lighthouse and Atomize serve hotel groups, chains, resorts and larger independents, and none publishes a list price. RoomPriceGenie, Climber, hotellab, happyhotel and Smartpricing are built for independent hotels and small groups; three of them publish monthly prices.

Revenue management software for hotels sets room prices from a forecast of demand rather than a fixed rate sheet. A revenue management system, or RMS, reads reservations and booking pace from the property management system, adds competitor rates, events and market demand, and recommends or uploads rates and stay restrictions for each future night. Larger systems also manage group quotes, meeting space and portfolio forecasts. This page covers hotel and hospitality RMS products only; tools for subscription billing or accounting revenue recognition are a separate category.
The comparison below covers ten products, from enterprise systems used by hotel groups and casinos to self-serve products for independent hotels and B&Bs. Information comes from each vendor’s own product, plan or pricing page, checked on 11 October 2026. hotellab, happyhotel and Smartpricing publish prices; the other seven quote on request.

IDeaS Revenue Solutions, a SAS company, sells hospitality revenue management software and states that more than 34,000 properties use its products. Its core hotel product is the IDeaS RMS, referred to in customer material as G3 RMS. The system forecasts demand by guest segment, accounting for willingness to pay, total available demand and competitor influence, then sets pricing and inventory controls for key products by room type.
IDeaS describes rate hurdles, overbooking and length-of-stay controls as levers for capturing higher-value demand rather than only moving the public rate. Additional products cover budgeting and forecasting across a portfolio, property performance insights, meeting and event space revenue management and marketing optimization. Outside hotels, IDeaS sells revenue management for cruise lines and airport parking.
The company markets to independent properties as well as groups and chains, with industry pages for boutique, casino, economy, extended stay, outdoor accommodation and resort operators.

Frequently asked questions
What is revenue management software for hotels?
Hotel revenue management software forecasts demand for each future night and recommends or automatically publishes room rates and restrictions such as minimum stay. It reads bookings from the property management system or channel manager and uses booking pace, competitor rates, events and history. Enterprise systems such as IDeaS and Duetto add segment, group and meeting space decisions, while products such as RoomPriceGenie and happyhotel focus on simple automated pricing for independent hotels.
How much does hotel revenue management software cost?
Three of the ten vendors here publish prices. hotellab starts at €190 per month for Lite and €350 for Pro plus a setup fee from €1,000. happyhotel charges €5 to €10 per room per month with a 30-room minimum, and Smartpricing starts at €111 per month billed annually. IDeaS, Duetto, FLYR Hospitality, Lighthouse, Atomize, RoomPriceGenie and Climber quote on request, usually by room count and modules.
Is this page about SaaS revenue management or revenue recognition?
No. In hospitality, revenue management means pricing perishable inventory such as hotel rooms to maximize revenue. Software for recognizing subscription revenue under accounting standards, or for billing recurring customers, is a different category. StatWharf covers billing tools on its subscription billing software page. Every product on this page is a hotel or hospitality RMS.
What is the difference between an RMS and a rate shopper?
A rate shopper collects competitor prices from OTAs and brand websites. An RMS uses those prices together with the hotel's own bookings, pace and forecasts to recommend or set rates. Several RMS products here include rate shopping, such as hotellab's built-in shopper and Climber's competitor analysis. Lighthouse sells both an RMS-style pricing product for independents and market intelligence that can feed another RMS.
Can a small independent hotel use revenue management software?
Yes. RoomPriceGenie, happyhotel, hotellab Lite, Climber Smart Pricing, Smartpricing and Lighthouse Pricing Optimization are aimed at independent hotels without a revenue manager, and several offer free trials. happyhotel charges at least 30 rooms, so very small properties should check minimums. IDeaS also markets to independent properties, though its configuration depth suits hotels with revenue staff.
Which products include a human revenue manager?
RoomPriceGenie's Professional plan includes a dedicated revenue manager and quarterly strategy reviews. Smartpricing Premium and Ultra include a dedicated revenue manager with one or up to four calls a month. Climber's Growth and Pro plans include quarterly or monthly performance meetings, and hotellab's Pro and Enterprise plans include a dedicated customer success manager.
What changed in the hotel RMS market in 2026?
On 8 October 2026 Duetto announced its acquisition of FLYR Hospitality, formerly Pace Revenue, and said it will offer FLYR's automated pricing engine alongside its own products. Atomize is now sold through Mews plans, and Climber has been part of Revenue Analytics since June 2025. Buyers should confirm the current owner, roadmap and contract entity for any product under evaluation.
How was this comparison compiled?
StatWharf Editorial selected ten hotel revenue management products with live product pages, covering enterprise systems for groups and chains and simpler products for independent hotels. Each vendor's own product, plan or pricing page was read on 11 October 2026, and prices are recorded as published with billing units and conditions. No product was installed or tested, no vendor reviewed its entry, and the order of entries is not a ranking.
